My Thoughts on the Ending of Allegiant

SPOLIER ALERT FOR ALLEGIANT

I know a lot of people hate the ending of the Divergant series because Tris dies. But I thought it was beautiful, she sacrificed herself for her brother. Even though her brother tired to kill her, and I knew before I read the book that she died. So I knew it was coming and it was sad. But I feel like she was always going to die before everything was solved, she was just one of those characters. I would have loved it if Tris and Four could have lived happily ever after but there was no way that was going to happen.

So yes, I love the ending of Allegiant. I love the way Veronica Roth had Tris die because it was the greatest sacrifice she could make for someone she loved. And to love someone like that even after they tried to kill you, damn. I will still probably be thinking about her death for the next month or so and still be sad about it, but I loved it. It was beautiful.
