@greypetrel I took your prompt! Here’s Trisme 😁
SIX SONG SOUNDTRACK
Event that defines your character's past:
Rescue
Figs (spirit raven) was the one that found her as a young child, wandering away from a destroyed village, where the raiders were still looting. He stayed with her, coaxing her away from the village and close enough to where he could call to Luminous Omen for help, and she send an army of spirits to carry her to the tower. Trisme has forgotten most of this, since she was very young, but she will always remember her absolute trust and faith in Figs and Luminous Omen, and belief that magic and spirits are Good.
How your character sees themselves:
Cristofori’s Dream
When I was a kid, I listened to a song and it made me imagine a wonderful wizard’s tower, full of curiosities and beauty. That’s how Trisme experiences Luminous Omen’s tower in Rivain, packed with color and magic and wonder, and it was very formative for Trisme. It’s made her into the hedge which she is, upbeat and finding delight in the things around her, and a little bit of the corvid interest in shiny things (sometimes that corvid kleptomania), and she wants to help others see things like she does.
How others view them:
Wild World
A lot of people think she’s a bit of a sweet dumdum, innocent and naive… and they aren’t completely wrong. She definitely prefers the sunny side of life, and being very sheltered in Luminous Omen’s tower, she is a little unaware of how bad things can be. But it wouldn’t be fair to condescend to her completely, she’s quite intelligent and capable, and aware of her blind spots - that’s what Figs is there to help her do.
Their closest relationship (romantic or platonic)
Friendship (a MILLION excellent versions but I picked Lucy and Ethel ❤️)
Figs is everything to Trisme - he’s her closest friend, something of a mentor but also a sibling… together they’re very chaotic but ride-or-die. This song captures their silliness but also the deep love they have for each other
A major fight scene:
Stronger than You
This song is kind of a metaphor for being defiantly gay in public, but it still captures Trisme’s vibe: the reasons she fights (to protect her friends), and the way she fights (using help from Figs and other friends) and an insistence that this is a defensive song, she’s fighting to protect her friends and to insist that she’s a worthy person.
End credits song:
I feel alive
Not particularly thinking of Minecraft, but I feel like this encompasses a lot of Trisme’s attitude. She wants to be joyful, and to bring joy to others! She wants to use her magic to make friends and create adorable accessories. She wants to go out and have FUN!
