BFT Book Photo Challenge: Nov. 01. The Boy Who Lived
Ofcourse I first thought of Harry Potter. I read them all, but I don’t own them. But I picked my copie of Trix Solier, written by Sergej Lukianenko. Since, he too, is a boy who lived.

It’s such a pity that there is no English translation of Trix Solier by Sergei Lukyanenko, because it’s just so great and I want everyone to read it and then we could talk about it, but no one can because there’s the Russian original and the German translation and some other translations and no English one. It is so incredibly funny, and witty, and intelligent. It’s an incredibly respectful parody of the fantasy genre, still a fantastic plot on its own, has endless references to our world, beautful prose, amazing characters, the most awesome protagonist (and I am usually a fan of minor characters!) and the best concept of magic I have ever read of.
