Sanguine feels like they have elements of Blair in them, which is exciting for me because I have been vying for Blair to become an RO since the conception.

Now that the old demo and storyline are in the past, please be honest: did you ever plan on making Blair an RO?

Yes, they are Blair! 😅 and yeah, Blair was one of the secret ROs. I had to make them not secret this time around because I thought there was no real reason why they couldnʼt be introduced earlier. They were originally supposed to be introduced (as a roommate) around Ch. 8.

But this isnʼt just Blair! They have elements of Chai, too, and a little bit of Akira. They werenʼt originally supposed to be “royalty” but now they are (from Chai being the Mayorʼs son and being called a prince by others). Their relationship with their parents has also changed to be so much more like Chaiʼs relationship with his parents. But they have a naive/optimistic quality to them that is similar to Akiraʼs.

Does MC no longer have an adopted sister ?

Ps. Missed this IF but also glad to be able to play it now when I know better 😭 I felt like a bull in a China shop when I was first started playing IFs and your IF was one of my first so I hope I can do it more justice this time 💀

Adopted sister Rosa is now a full sister! She plays a much bigger role in how the story goes now. She will not be showing up as much as the other characters, but her presence will be much more known than previously!

And hey! Yeah, I felt very much the same way when I was first writing TRO 😭 It feels like we’re growing together 🥹🫱🏽‍🫲🏽

Hello, sorry to bother you but I remember reading your if a couple of years ago and remember it being one of my favourites❤️. I was wondering if you decided to remove Chai Santiago as a ro or if you want to add him later on? I will continue to support you either way I was just curious 🤗

Hello, this is no bother!

Chai was too similar to Auri (and Akira) so I had to remove him, unfortunately. I was writing scenes set much later in the story and it all felt redundant because those three were so similar.

Chaiʼs been “cut up”, for lack of better word, and parts of his personality and backgrounds are given to other people. He might still end up showing himself as a much less important version of himself in the game (Akira will be a verrrry minor character, and by that I mean mostly alluded to) but he wonʼt be an actual character.
