HELLO TROD ENJOYERS
I'm posting the final product. I don't think I'll ever be able to finish it, it's already been a year <//3 But!! I hope you like it, even though the scenes aren't fully correct since it was started BEFORE the chapter dropped.
@bamsara
It's going up on Youtube at 12pm EST!! @/Serv0zzz
A lot of the frames reference certain comic pages + art Bam has done though HORRIBLY out of order due to when I first started this. You can see the style change half-way in LMFAO
Some of the scenes near the end aren't. timed the way I originally had them. I lost the image I made of when it would go where and whatnot so it left off strangely. I originally had it where the dance speeds up, the bishops descend and in a fit of 'vengeance' in a way the two would spin and dance into every 'ghost' until none were left. Just them and the Dip scene. Oh, well! This isn't too bad of a ending to it I think, give it some angst spice i feel.
This is Tyren from @bamsara 's fic The Rehabilitation of Death, which,,, is,,,,, a Lamb x Narinder fic,,,,,, I'm just filled with evil ideas.
This is a post for me to yap about this ship and dynamic because I HAVE to do it somewhere and I don't have the motivation to write the fic for them quite yet.
yappening below 👇
The goal for this pairing is to make them as close to canon as possible, aka, they are going to be the most toxic, incompatible pair of motherfuckers to exist. I truly think this ship is more of a psychological horror than a romance (which is why it fascinates me!).
SO in order to write this fic I have to figure some things out, mainly, Narinder. Solution? He's actually dead u guys. That's my solution. Lambert would fall for them in EVERY lifetime, I believe this. So, instead I'm going to remove Narinder as an option, have Lambert 'accidentally' kill him, then be so overcome with guilt and mental health issues that they seek comfort in Tyren, of all people.
Second main issue, why the fuck does the Lamb end up with Tyren? Romantically even??? It's so unlikely in canon, but I want to make it happen. Solution? Increase Lambert's mental illness, make them codependent on Tyren, make Tyren an abuser (while maintaining his sycophanty), and somehow remove every other good option for support in Lambert's life (you can see how the psychological horror is coming into play).
Third issue, Finor and Ratau. The Lamb sees Finor as a mother figure, and trusts her quite a lot. Not enough to tell her everything, but enough that I think her presence would keep them from falling apart enough to date Tyren. I haven't settled on how to deal with her yet. Finor wouldn't ask to leave the Lamb to be with her children quite yet, ESPECIALLY if she picks up that the Lamb is Unwell™ (and you know she would). Maybe manipulation from Tyren would make her become more distant, or maybe she'd try to be supportive of a relationship with Tyren? I'm not sure of her opinions on Tyren, especially at the beginning of TroD. Now, Ratau is actually easier to deal with. The game itself gives us the solution! Let the Teeth in the Darkness eat him. Maybe it's a deranged decision from the Lamb, maybe Tyren makes it happen. It doesn't need to happen too early, since Ratau isn't around Lambert as often as Finor is.
Next issue, the Bishops. Lmao, what do I mean issue, Lambert's killing them all. OOC? I'd like to argue that point. Consider, if Lambert 'killed' Narinder, their soulmate, their god, their reason for living, I think they'd want an outlet, and I think that outlet can come in the form of the bishops. Let the Lamb kill them in the same manner they murdered their love. Maybe that will fix them? Maybe this will avenge Narinder in the way he truly desires? This story is certainly possible if I leave the bishops in, HOWEVER, this is toxic yaoi, and it will end with the Lamb having no one else beside them except Tyren.
I think these are the core issues with the pairing. I may have missed things, I don't have my notes with me as I'm making this post. There's still the issue of 'How EXACTLY did the Lamb want to kiss Tyren?' and other similar questions. It's difficult to write, as I've said, these fuckers don't belong together in any universe, but I'm putting them together in this one. The core of it is going to come down Tyren's good intentions and persistence; and Lambert's desparation and inexperience.
Okay, that should be all for now. If you have ideas for this cursed couple let me know. Don't keep those evil thoughts to yourselves babe!
