Speaking as a tired pan-ace girl here...

I’m really getting tired of seeing people fall for these obvious troll tweets from someone pretending to be asexual saying something ridiculous so they can further incite hate on the ace community. Literally most ace people agree that the term virgin isn’t a slur/or offensive, and it’s just a bs joke that was started by anti-ace folks.

It’s like I’ve been on Tumb1r dot hell for so long to recognize this is just a bait tactic people would do in ace discourse to spread the false idea that we’re just “seeking to be oppressed” and that these don’t reflect the real beliefs of actual ace people have. But of course folks don’t realize that and their just taking any chance to dunk on this tweet while hating on aces not realizing it’s a troll.

Like regardless of whether you think aces are lgbt or not, I’m sick and tired of these misconceptions purposely being spread around to make us look bad. It’s already bad enough people automatically assume were just cishets looking to infiltrate the community. I just want people to stop falling for these bait posts.

*P.S. saying virgin is a slur to ace people anyways is dumb because not all asexuals are virgins, and not all virgins are asexual.
