Perfect Fit!

I'm a big movie fan. And a big music fan. If you combine the two you get... movie soundtracks! Of course there are a lot of cool movie soundtracks and movie music out there. From famous pop songs like Don't You Forget About Me from the Simple Minds for the movie The Breakfast Club to Power Of Love by Huey Lewis And The News from the movie Back To The Future (one of my all time favorite movies).

For the movie Tron, which is an epic sci-fi movie, they turned to masters of electronic music, Daft Punk. Now these two guys are quite a mystery themselves, never showing their faces, always wearing masks at concerts and even in their cameo in the movie they're wearing helmets.

Daft Punk created a soundtrack that is in total sync with the mood and feel of the movie. And that is an enormous accomplishment because Tron is more that just a sci-fi movie, more that just disc wars, motorcycles and computers. Tron, both the old movie and this sequel too, is about design, the blackness with the stripes and shapes of light... that's what makes Tron so different from any other movie, and the soundtrack made by the boys from Daft Punk captures just that.

Today I played the movie soundtrack to the movie Tron on my iPhone as it sat in my JBL dock at work. It totally brought me back into the movie, it's an epic soundtrack for an epic movie: Tron and Daft Punk, it's a perfect fit!
