In 2018, TROOSTITE altered the impetus of their live performances, and instead began mining and repurposing its vast library of recordings, with the goal of crystallizing and contrasting the captured accidents of fluid improv into more rehearsed combinations and structures; their live set includes a diverse romp of material that resembles a hypnotic mix of prog, kraut, and post rock.
