All he wanted to do was shower the overwhelming stench of defeat off of himself and go the hell home. He’d waited until the rest of the team had showered and left, one by one, clearing out and leaving him to be alone with his guilt. Of course, he wasn’t alone. Of course, there would be someone left for him to avoid and ignore. And not just anyone, Billy Hargrove.
