I recently sold some work to a collector in San Francisco to hang in her @sonomacounty barn. Mike @cronescustoms made these gorgeous 30x40” oak frames. Mounted oval prints and frames were shipped separately to Ryan @markryanfineartservices who assembled them for us. I’m sure they were not easy to hang at that height but I’m happy to see them in such a unique and beautiful space! I’ve been working on interesting ways to present my art and make it more accessible. That led me to create these hats with images from my Trophies series. I’ve enjoyed the process of crafting them, and I’m really excited by the result. I print them onto a heat transfer vinyl in my studio. Then I press each one onto a fabric square, which is then embroidered around the edge and sewn onto a hat. Colors have been painstakenly chosen by yours truly.
