Why I posted about True ASL
There seems to be some concern on my True ASL post. It was not to attack those who use SEE or anything like that (which I am pretty sure I put in my post). It was more to state my personal preference, and to talk about the preference of the Deaf people I have met in Alaska, and to reiterate what many of the Deaf professors have said, it is important to pass on True ASL, lest it be forgotten. As I mentioned before, True ASL, TO ME, is more respectful of Deaf Culture. It is their language, unmodified and beautiful.
