Going! Going! Gone!!!
Seems like 2017 just flew by, and we are already in the third week of 2018. How is everyone doing so far? Just wanted to reinforce the fact that true contentment and a feeling of being a true success in life can only come from filling the God-shaped hole or void or emptiness in your heart and life with God Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. We can try to fill that void with everything we can possibly think of; everything we feel will bring true peace, joy and happiness, but in the still of the night, or when we're all alone, there comes that feeling of unfulfillment, restlessness, distrust etc. etc. etc. You name it.
Well, before we all burst into tears, let's be reminded that there's HOPE. Let's do first things first. While we're pursuing all those wonderful goals, stop and get things right with God. The Bible says He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith; the Beginning and the End. God loves us and has good intentions towards us. The Bible tells us Jesus came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Wow! More abundantly!!! How awesome is that!!!
Remember friends, let's seize the day. Let's grab this moment, this magical moment when God is reaching out to you and give your life to Him. Just a simple prayer to Him. “God I repent of all my sins. I believe Jesus died and took all my sins away and gave me the free gift of His righteousness.” The Bible says if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead we shall be saved. We move from being God's creation to being His child. We can call God Abba, Father, or Daddy. That's when true life really happens. No shadow, no meaningless facade, but the real deal. Remember once again, time is fleeting and soon will be Going! Going! Gone!
