back on track
What I have learnt from being off from running for about a month is that if you are a true runner you will never leave this. You might try but your life will never be the same again. You will never be as happy as you used to be before. With all the people around, money in the pocket and places you go...the emptiness will only grow, sending you back to those days when you were able to run. Enjoy the pure feeling of satisfaction, when you exceed the limits created by society. If there is no love in your life, no joy, nothing then think about what you have left behind to see if you can live without it. This is a mental test. For the second time in my life I need to admit I am a true runner. These damn injuries only prove I`m crazy in love with this shit.
That`s all.
"One thing we runners know. There is no substitute for running. No matter what age we are. No matter what time we do it." (from Running & Being by Dr. George Sheehan)
