FUCK YEAH
I’m just saying. If a private citizen who is a felon can’t run for public office, why should a famous felon get to run for President?
trump being found guilty just in time for pride month is my roman empire
(IN A GOOD WAY. I AM GLAD HE WAS CONVICTED. I CAN CELEBRATE THAT ALONG WITH PRIDE.)
found this in my camera roll...... it's literally trump lmao
Republicans are openly calling for "revenge" for the Trump verdict this week, so I'd like to lay down the following marker:
If a Democrat has done something that you can get a grand jury to indict them for, then they should be indicted. If they have done something that a jury could convict them for, then they should be convicted. Your constant refrain that "if they can do it to Trump they can do it to anyone" isn't a bad thing, that's exactly how American law is supposed to work.
BTW, if you want to convict some Democrats, I suggest you get started on New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez and Texas Representative Henry Cuellar who are already on trial for various types of corruption and, if they're guilty, I hope that the evidence comes out and a jury finds them such.
Ultimately, that's the difference between Democrats and Republicans these days. Democrats see equal justice under law as the ideal and Republicans see it as a threat.
