Is there a Przewalski’s horse version of the Trunkhorses Or an undomesticated trunk horse.
Yes, small herds of them still roam the temperate scrublands, and are often associated with Oh’jub. Domestication favored shorter, more compact animals, and selection for gentler temperament has correlated with relatively small chelae. There is speculation that the ancestral specie was independently domesticated at least twice; once in the northern hemisphere by plains-dwelling ancestors of the kakroum tribes, and again south of the ice belt by cultures associated with the steppe ruins. Trunkhorses of this stock are heavily built and bear enormous lower chelae for plowing through snow.
