1. truscum are all jared 19 2. truscum don’t know the concept of basic decency

things they are not accomplishing: -convincing me on why their ideology is good, worthwhile, or something i should even take seriously for a second

the gross truscum- idea of how nounself pronouns and demigenders and et cetera are bad because they make it hard for cis people to take the trans community seriously is so messed up

like

if you were a math teacher, and you had a student who pretty much understood long division but didn't want to learn algebra at all, and when you started trying to teach them algebra they got angry and shouted about how they hated math

then you would not pat the student on the head and agree with them that yes, algebra is bullshit and shouldn't even exist. you would not remove all the algebra from the syllabus just to keep them happy. because algebra would still exist and it would still be a part of math, and if they don't want to get it then it's their problem.

(also please note it is not actually trans people's job to be 'teachers' for cis people who don't get it; although we can explain stuff and some of us are great educators, it is in no way our responsibility and we aren't to blame for your ignorance)
