That’s correct!! :D Star Wars was and is a huge part of my childhood and young adulthood, so my username is absolutely a reference to that!

I am sad to say though that my favorite movies are the prequels— or at least that specific part of the SW timeline, mostly due to the Clone Wars and General Grievous (whom is one of my OLDEST blorbos)

Fun fact: my first fanfiction and OC was for Star Wars! I keep saying I’ll finish that story because it’s very near and dear to my heart, so much I actually have re-written it like three times, but I never could make the motivation stick since it was such a niche piece of writing (OC + old and less loved SW setting + minor canon character whose cool ass canon got thrown out by disney)

Like don’t get me wrong, I’ll happily infodump about the fic (I even fucking made a blog to organize it years ago @starwarstruthwithin which I’m still pretty proud of!) but the parts I love most just aren’t in the current pop culture limelight all that much anymore <XD

Considering that the last reference sheet was super simplified (and old), and that Sakajin is also partially of an original species (Tarael) I think Squid did an absolutely fantastic job at translating what I had in mind for her 👏

Over 11k words and 20 pages of outlining/summaries for chapters and I’m not even close to done yet

True love to a chaptered fanfic is having your chapter/plot summary document nearly 10k words long and having a dozen chapters carefully planned ahead of the fic with intricate thought and detail put into the development of the main (original) character’s thoughts, attitude and connection with the main (canon) character of the fic

And this has nothing to do with the extensive timeline I’ve written to keep track of important events that happened before the story even officially starts and how it compares to the canon timeline of the fandom I’m writing it for.
