A Statement of Purpose & Expectations Gamers Expect  Reviewers & Devs to Respect

For wikipedia to alert users of edit wars in progress CLEARLY, so that wikipedia does not become the e-ministry of truth, and ppl can look elsewhere for a unbiased summary of events.  Shame on you wikipedia.

For the "gamergate controversy' wikipedia page to have a large 'Under Review" Banner Crisscrossing the current content - or something similar until it embodies the core standards for quality strived for by wikipedia, and a clear demonstration it respects the trusted position it holds among the population..

That all ongoing DDOS, doxxing, hacking attempts cease immediately against the people, sites, et all shaming and punishing them for supporting #GamerGate

Ultimately of course, it's up to you. But please realize, the world is watching.  Propaganda only goes so far.  And the future of your reputations will likely ride on the choices you make in the coming days.

Hi my names is Nestle and I'm a college student and aspiring med student that uses tumblr to gain a little extra cash to cover college expenses. I was curious and wondering if you could be kind enough to trade urls. I use tumblr to help pay for my college expenses as it's not cheap at all I know it's a lot to ask and may be a shot in the dark but it would mean the world to me. Sorry for bothering you, but if you could just reply to my message that would be great

I would probably consider a straight-up trade for “truth” (or at least I’d experience a weird existential angst while making the choice). But the “-ed” at the end is enough to tip the scales in favor of my keeping “lies”.

I’m curious how you make money with your Tumblr URL, though. How does that work?

Also: good job on the college student/aspiring med student thing. Given my advancing age, wouldn’t it be a hoot if some day I was receiving some crucial medical care and the person administering it turned out to be you?
