What's BTS' best album, so far, in your opinion?
Noooo you can’t ask me that. That’s like asking a mother to choose between her children 🤣
Honestly I like all the albums for different reasons. I love how they’re all different, have various genres and messages throughout the entire discography. For me I love being able to see/hear BTS’ growth with their albums. You really learn a lot about them as artists throughout the years in their music. They allow us to hear what they’re going through, it feels all so personal and I really appreciate that in their artistry.
I love how with every album there’s something new and exciting, they change their style up all the time and it keeps it fresh and engaging. I’m amazed honestly how quickly they’re able to turn out new music and yet it’s always something unexpected (unlike some artists- whose every album sounds the same imo)
I don’t have a favourite album, I have an affinity to every album for a number of reasons i.e 2 cool 4 skool- first album~ naturally I’m going to have a soft spot for it, not to mention the different charts their albums helped them get onto and records other albums have broken etc... they’re so brilliant at out-doing themselves that I’m grateful for every award that their songs have brought them and so in turn I’ll always have a fondness for every album for that reason. Aside from that I also love how there’s always a song for whatever you’re feeling (regardless of which album it came from).
I guess as of now I seem to be listening to BE a lot, perhaps because it’s most recent but also because it’s so relevant right now. I think it really registers with a lot of people at the moment. Their messages within their albums are always so important e.g love yourself being a big movement. But personally, for me BE feels so significant right now, because it really looks at current issues and I think it gives a message that a lot of people need these days. That’s what I love mainly about their albums; the messages that they want to tell in the form of music. They look at what’s important and relevant to so many of us that it’s easy to resonate with their words and I think that’s why they’re so popular amongst people of all ages. They’re able to be really relatable to their fans/audience and I think that’s what’s most important in music, in truly speaking to someone.
-thanks for your question! And sorry for going off on a tangent 🤭💕
