“Where are you going right now?” “Right now I’m carrying Korean traditional socks and on my way to go dance.” “Dance?” “Originally my son was majoring in Korean traditional dance, but he quit. As I was following my son, I was disappointed because I couldn’t explore things for myself much anymore, but then it occurred to me, ‘why don’t I try this as a hobby once?’ That’s how I started doing Korean traditional dancing. I realized that as much as I felt wistful that he quit, I actually found it to be fun.”
“지금 어디 가세요?” “전 지금 버선 들고 춤추러 가요.” “춤이요?” “원래 우리 아이가 전공으로 한국무용을 했었는데 걔가 그만 뒀어요. 더 이상 아이를 따라다니면서 구경을 못 하니까 섭섭했는데, 오히려 ‘내가 한 번 취미로 해볼까?’ 하고 생각이 들더러구요. 그렇게 한국무용을 시작했어요. 아이가 한국무용을 그만 둔게 섭섭한만큼 제가 한국무용을 재밌어 했다는 거잖아요.”
