Today is the first anniversary for my fic, To Repay Your Love!

I started posting my fic on Ao3 March 24, 2025. What started off as a small gift in a Google doc for my amazing partner @floofanflurr very quickly became a huge personal journey. These characters became so dear to me, and Frisk's journey of recovery and finding their true family ended up healing something in me, too.

Thank you to everyone who has shown love for this story over the past year. Hearing the ways TRYL has given people joy, catharsis, or a feeling of being understood means more to me than I know how to express.

So - to anyone who has read TRYL, thank you so much for being with me on this journey. We'll still check in with this family from time to time - you're always welcome to stop by! In the meanwhile, I wish you love, safety, and peace, wherever your journey may lead you.

An animation I made of the family from my Undertale skelefamily fic, To Repay Your Love.

For a while after the events of the story, Frisk develops a tendency to fall asleep really quick when their brothers hold them. Touch-starved, lifetime-of-trauma-and-stress kiddo starts just crashing whenever they feel cozy and safe with their family. They take a lot of time to just rest during the time skip before the epilogue.

Frisk finally has a family that will keep them safe. For the first time they can remember, they're able to truly rest.

I am very new to attempting animation!!! I learned a ton in the process of making this animation and there's a lot I could change about it, but I wanted to share it now. I have a lot of other projects I'd like to work on, so it's time for this one to be done! :)

Frisk paused for a moment, then slipped off their shoes and walked into the living room shelter. They stepped carefully onto one of the mattresses, one slow step at a time, as if they were walking on holy ground. They lowered themself gently and sat cross-legged, looking up at the fairy-light ceiling. The wonder returned to their expression. Sans remembered Frisk's look as they wandered through Waterfall, that same awe and slow, careful reverence in their eyes - as if they loved something so much, but weren't sure if they had any right to enjoy it.
