I am utterly speechless in the best way possible.

I raced home from work just in time for the premiere and I’m so fucking glad I did.

willow was absolutely gorgeous and the sound wasn’t what I was expecting but exactly what I needed and the video was AHHHHH

the way it started off with the end of cardigan, and then the invisible string and all those times where she couldn’t reach her man and then she finally found her way back to him....

and then they left their cabin in a shower of golden light (golden daylight?!!!)...

@taylorswift I have so much more to say but I don’t know how to say it. You knocked it out of the park. I love you and I love this song and I will love this album. (But first I have to get inside my house!)

@taylorswift , every time I hear marjorie or see the lyric video, I want to cry because it reminds of my relationship with my grandmother.

she’s one of the strongest women I’ve ever known, beating cancer twice, and raising me for the first few years of my life.

she’s the one who encouraged my love for reading and writing, fostered my creativity, and is more than half my motivation for the things I want to do with my life. she taught me to be a dreamer.

and I haven’t seen her for a long time because she lives halfway across the world. if the pandemic wasn’t a thing, I would’ve seen her this summer.

T, thank you for writing a song that captured that relationship so effortlessly and beautifully. I love it so much. it reminds me to keep my family close and make sure they know exactly how much I love them.

Is anyone surprised that @taylorswift has become the first artist in Billboard’s history to debut at #1 on both the Billboard 100 and Billboard 200 charts? 

Taylor Swift wrote two fantastic albums in the year of 2020, the most horrendous year in recent memory. She deserves it all and I cannot think of anything or anyone else that could have done more or deserved it more.

T, I love you and your music. I love that you continue to grow and branch out into any and every genre, because it continues to show all of us that you are one of the most talented songwriters/artists ever. It showcases your versatility and creativity, and so yeah, I’m not surprised that you achieved this milestone. If anyone could do it while switching up genres (AGAIN), it would be you.

I think it would be so cool if @taylorswift released a letter writing stationery set as part of the folklore/evermore merch because I feel like it would perfectly encompass the old-timey, longing vibes of the two albums.

and letter writing is such a beautiful, permanent way to communicate during a hard time. <3
