I was getting burnt out working on the animation, and mostly I think it was because I believed that even if I got the animation to be perfect, I’d never have any luck actually trying to get it in the game. So I decided to stop working on perfecting the animation and try to do a little “proof of concept” for myself and actually try to get it in the game. After hours of trying to get it to bake properly, I finally got it to work, and getting it into the game (as just an animation box anyway) was not a huge stress for me, thank goodness. I could’ve cried tears of joy and relief.
The new rigs by @justmiha97 are amazing! Once you bake it, import it to Milkshape, export it to SimPe, you’re done, no having to edit the positions or anything. It looks just like it did in Blender in the game! I’m amazed. Watching this video shows me allllll the flaws with the animation, but at least I proved to myself that I can at least do this much. Sorry about my horrible camera skills! Hahaha whoops.
Now the urge to animate (and do it well) has been reinvigorated in me!
