borderless fullscreen ts2... with the correct resolution! 🎉
i think i found a way around the fullscreen problem (x) when using ts2rpc by @lazyduchess !
with the ✨ display changer ✨ you can make it so whenever you load the game, your monitor’s resolution automatically changes to 1920x1080, and it even reverses it when you close the game! i also have two monitors, and it only changes the resolution of the one it shows my game on, not the other one. so you can still watch videos in a higher resolution while playing ☺️
all you have to do is download and export the .zip file somewhere safe (i put it in a folder in my program files) and then rename the shortcut target (the one you use to start your game) to include dc.exe or dc64.exe and -width=1920 -height=1080
so for me it looks like: "C:\Program Files (x86)\dc_4.4.2\dc64.exe" -width=1920 -height=1080 "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin\Sims2RPC.exe""
also you’ll have to change back the icon, simply by selecting the original Sims2RPC.exe when asked where it should look for the icon.
and that’s pretty much it! as far as i’ve been able to tell, all the features still work (even discord!)
