Firefighter glitch Sims 3

So, since I don't have Simler90's Core Mod (I was getting so many errors when using Nraas mods together with this) I had to fix the Firefighter job myself.

Apparently, the issue is: Fire Jobs will not work on lots that have a foundation.

Houses MUST be flat for fire jobs to work.

Or, the foundation can be like this (as seen in several Twinbrook homes)

Yeah that's basically the issue it seems. It's not because (as said on Nraas forums) that the fire gets put out by rain or inactive Sims.

When a fire job spawns, its random. Its always at a random playable Sim's house (which again, may be on a foundation)

That's why they cancel!

The good news? You can spawn your own jobs with testingcheats!

If you're tired of the random jobs not panning out (I just treat these as failed emergencies or fake ones) then you can shift click on a lot (without a proper foundation) and choose "Spawn Job".

Shaders/Rendering Issue Fix!

for anyone dealing with this :

One of those mods is Lazy Duchess : TS3 Shader Tweaks !

I love this mod to death! but honestly I don't want to get rid of it so here is the solution if you're having the same issues as me.

I recently posted here about an issue I was having with skins/accessories.

If you're experiencing the following this fix might be for you! :

Accessories turning black such as rings, necklaces, bracelets etc.

Scalp textures turning white

Textures going back to normal once your sim exits a building/home.

I found this fix it fixed it just fine.. until it came back again after updates to my drivers /Gshade.

After awhile I noticed the issue didn't happen outdoors for sims.

After searching for the past 2 days.. this has been the only thing that worked completely.

BUT!! I will say it has to be done to ALL the files in the ''Shader_replace'' folder if you are having more than one thing turning black on sims.

You should be seeing something like this now as your indoors or outdoors on your sim :

Hopefully this helps someone, cause this was driving me nuts!!
