How to run Milkshape through Parallels on 64-bit Macs!
Super niche tip but hopefully this post will reach someone who googles this (I was that poor bloke lol).
Does Milkshape fail to run through your Windows 11 VM on an M1-or-later Mac? Try the following:
Go to the Milkshape 3D folder program files, right-click ms3d.exe and choose Properties.
Then choose Change emulation settings.
Make sure Hide x64 emulation capability is unchecked.
Change Default to Very strict execution using the drop down menu.
Milkshape should now run 🎉
(3d view doesn't look great, but it works just fine for assigning joints and converting between wso and obj)
I’ve been trying to make a default replacement for mistletoe for the past couple of days. For some reason 2 default recolors out of 3 get messed up and the mesh turns out to look different when I click on them, the third one, though, works properly. I realized the recolors must be stored in OBJD file. So I imported it in and opened TGI blocks and studied and studied it alone, I couldn’t find any tutorials about how to change anything in tgi blocks. The problem is that most people don’t work with default replacements of objects at all, they just make new objects and it wouldn’t have been an issue if it was something I wanted. But I really wanted it to work. The default mistletow looks so pathetic, I have to make a replacement. It took me 3 days to figure out what I could possibly do to make it at least show me proper textures when I click on first 2 default recolors. It’s like the default recolors were still linked to some old textures I don’t know why. I don’t understand how it all works. I thought since the third recolor works perfectly fine I could at least copy all the keys from it to the first 2 recolors and they would turn to look the same white color but at least show me proper textures/mesh. I figured I could just change one xml and I figured I could grab it from game’s resources, I just needed an instance. I found a reddish looking default wood texture that looks fine. I realized this was the only option only today and tried and edited the same Resource Keys over and over again, leaving the TOP ones untouched. I’m still not sure whether it’s the right thing to do and why solid colors get screwed up. I have no idea but I’ve connected it to some wood that looks red and paint that looks yellow and it looks good in game. Maybe I should call it quits? I really don’t know why solid colors point to some old textures or maybe even to old mesh. I’m tired of fighting this. Edit. I forgot to say that It works with new textures of wood and paint and the third one is untouched and works fine. It just works. You would need to recolor the existing mistletoe that you already placed in your game long time ago. But since I have practically almost 0 of them because they looked so ugly before I’m just going to place this replacement to my folder and buy new mistletoes.
I’m setting up CC Magic (again, yes, don’t ask) and have run into an...issue. I have all my mods organized into neat little folders in my Packages and I know you can do this in CC Magic too. It doesn’t keep the folders when importing everything so I’ve started with uploading one folder. Except I cannot move more than one item at a time. As someone who is a bit of a CC hoarder (I’m trying to be better, hence redoing everything) it’s going to take me years to move things one by one into their appropriate folders. Is there a way to move more than one item at a time in CC Magic that I am somehow overlooking?

Hope you are all doing well. I'm just hear to drop a monthly report on the WIP Menstrual Cycle mod. No name has been decided just yet. So I will just refer to it as MonocoDoll's Menstrual Cycle Mod for now. As of this moment, the features that have been worked on include...
Menstrual Cycle
The Menstrual Cycle comes with 4 segments. PMS, Period, Fertile Window, and Luteal Phase.
PMS
During PMS, your sims may experience Hormonal Effects. These Hormonal Effects so far can range from Headaches, Nauseous, Dizziness, Aroused, Irritated, Moody, Big Appetite, Oversensitive, Cramping, and Restlessness.
Don't worry, your sim won't always have a hormonal effect while under their PMS Segment. Sometimes they may have a Relief Period.
Period
During the Period Segment, your sim will not only go through Hormonal Effects, but will now begin to bleed.
The bleeding comes in blood flow strengths. Which are Light Flow, Moderate Flow, and Heavy Flow.
On their first day entering the Period Segment, they will obtain a Blood Flow Strength. More likely to get the heavy flow in their earlier days of the Period Segment and vice versa.
Once a Flow Strength is obtained, every hour the blood will stain your sim. Not having any protection will net your sim the Dripping Blood Moodlet.
However, to combat this you may utilize Pads/Tampons. They have a durability which can typically last you a bit before needing to replace them. Heavy Blood flow drains this durability much faster than Moderate and Light Blood flows.
Once their durability runs out, your sim will obtain a Wearing Worn out Pad or Wearing Worn Out Tampon.
If they don't replace them in time and still have them on. They will obtain the leaking moodlet instead of the dripping moodlet.
The Worn Out Pads/Tampons can be removed via the toilet. And new ones can also be worn via the toilet.
Fertile Window
During the Fertile Window, your sim will be the most fertile. The further they are in into this segment, the more fertile they will be overall. The peak fertility would be on their ovulating day which is the final day of their Fertile Window Segment.
33% Into this segment, they will be in (Window 1) with fertility being 0%-10% by default.
66% Into this segment, they will be in (Window 2) with fertility being 20%-31% by default.
99% Into this segment, they will be in (Window 3) with fertility being 31%-33% by default.
100% Into this segment, they will be in (Ovulation) with fertility being 31%-33% by default.
Luteal Phase
During the Luteal Phase, your sims fertility will drop and pregnancy won't be likely. Additionally, this stage you do not have to deal with any Hormonal Effects or Bleeding
Fertility System
The Fertility system was designed to attempt to work alongside third party mods and the vanilla game. The way it works is once a sim gets pregnant via the vanilla game or a third party mod. The fertility system will take into account both fertility rates of the sim with the menstrual cycle and the sim without one. First the system will determine whether either of them has a fertility rate of 0. If one of them does, then the pregnancy will be terminated. Otherwise both fertility rates will be combined and then divided by two. Then the game will see if it reaches the fertility threshold. Which by default is 70, but can be adjusted. If it meets the fertility threshold. The pregnancy is kept. Otherwise the pregnancy will be terminated.
The Math... For female Sims with Menstrual Cycles. Fertility is mainly based on their Cycle. They will be most fertile during the Fertile Window Segment. Their highest fertility being the final day of the Fertile Window. Which is ovulation. There are multipliers that can be added on top of this fertility. Which include the Fertility Treatment reward trait (50% multiplier boost) and being a young adult(20% multiplier boost).
For male sims, Fertility is mainly based on their age. Males will be the most fertile in the Young Adult stage. There are multipliers that can be added on top of this fertility. Which include the Fertility Treatment (50% multiplier boost) and meeting the Fitness Threshold (20% boost).
Example... We have a female sim named Saryn who is a young adult and is on her last day of the Fertility Window Segment. We also have a Male sim named Mateo who is a young adult and meets the fitness threshold.
Saryn's Fertility Rate:
Since she is ovulating, her highest fertility rate can be between 31%-33% by default. We'll say she rolled 33%.
Since she is a Young Adult she gets a 20% boost to her fertility rate.
33+ (33 * 0.20) = 39.6%
Saryn's Final Fertility rate is 39.6%
Mateo's Fertility Rate:
Since he is a young adult. His highest fertility rate can be between 80%-100% by default. We'll say he rolled 85%.
Since he meets the fitness threshold he gets a 20% boost to his fertility rate.
85 * (85 * 0.20) = 102%
Mateo's Final Fertility rate is 102%
Fertility System Calculation:
The system will now calculate whether the pregnancy should remain.
The system will determine whether either party has a fertility rate of 0%. If either one of them does. The pregnancy is terminated.
The system will then add both their fertility rates and divide by two and ensure it meets the threshold. Which by default is 70.
39.6 + 102 = 141.6
141.6 / 2 = 70.8
If the outcome meets or exceeds the fertility threshold, then the pregnancy is kept. In this case Mateo has knocked up Saryn. Otherwise if the outcome is below the fertility threshold, then the pregnancy is terminated.
Objects
Pads/Tampons: Used to protect from leaks and dripping blood while a sim is having their period
Pregnancy Test: Used to determine whether a sim is pregnant or not
Plan B Box: Used to prevent a pregnancy. By default it only works 12 hours after woohoo.
Birth Control: Used to lower fertility rate. Has a chance of failing. Only effective after taking it for three days. Need to continue to take each day to keep it effective. Will also prevent hormonal effects and bleeding.
Condom: Used by male sims to prevent pregnancies. Chance of breaking. If successful condom, the fertility rate will be set to 0 for male.
Period Tracking App
App on the phone. Will give you info about your sims current segment and how far along they are within that segment.
Hospital Procedures
Vasectomy: For male sims to lower their fertility to prevent pregnancies. This procedure is reversible
Hysterectomy: For female sims to lower fertility to prevent pregnancies. Also completely removes Menstrual Cycle and is not reversible.
Tubal Ligation: For female sims to lower fertility to prevent pregnancies. This procedure is reversible.
Abortion: For female sims who are pregnant. By default only works if pregnancy is equal or lower than 66% completed. If it is higher, than abortion is not an option.
Social Interactions
Ask For Spare Pad or Tampon: Any sim with a menstrual cycle can ask another sim with a menstrual cycle for a spare pad or tampon if they do not have one. It will be under (Girl Code...). Has a cooldown after use.
Ask if on birth control: Can be used on friends or romantic interests. Sim will tell you if they are on the pill. If they are too early on the pill, or if they are not on the pill at all. Sims can lie about being on birth control. This is tunable.
Ask If It Is A Safe Day: Can be used on friends or romantic interests. Sim will tell you whether it is a safe day or not. If they are currently in their fertile window, then they will notifiy you that it is not a safe day. If they aren't in the Fertile Window segment, then they will notify you that it is a safe day. As Fertility is very low at other segments. However, sims can lie about it being a safe day. This is tunable.
Ask About Bleeding: Child sims can ask family members about bleeding when they experience their first period. Depending on relationship or traits, the reaction can be different.

Apply Protection: Used to apply pads/tampons
Remove Protection: Used to remove pads, tampons, worn out pads, and worn out tampons
Use Pregnancy Test: Used to use the pregnancy test to determine whether you are pregnant or not
Fertility awareness Test: sims with menstrual cycles can use this interaction to determine their fertility

With OnlySims you can utilize the Cell Phone to take Selfies. There are three types of Selfies you can post on OnlySIms. Selfies, Sexy Selfies, and Nude Selfies. Nude Selfies are Selfies taken when your sim is naked, Sexy Selfies are selfies taken when a sim is wearing sleepwear or swimwear, and everything else is a normal selfie.
Note: When a Sim takes a selfie, data is stored into that photo. Their age group, The Cosmetic Surgery they have had done, and the outfit category that they are wearing. This data then helps determine the amount of likes gained when that photo is posted. Other factors also determine the amount.

You can utilize a video camera to turn on the record button and perform a couple of activities while It's on to receive a recording.

This data then helps determine the amount of likes gained when that recording is posted. Other factors also determine the amount. Additionally, for those that will ask, Passion Woohoo will result in a Woohoo tape like vanilla ea woohoo. Any modded woohoo mod that triggers the "had woohoo" event will result in a Woohoo tape. As I use passion I can confirm that it does work with passion.
-OnlySims Livestreaming Interaction
The model may also livestream on a Laptop or Computer on OnlySims.
When you livestream you may start to receive tips alongside comments.
Note: By default you may start to gain tips at 50 subscribers. This value is tunable. Additionally, for every hour streamed, that counts as one livestream. So if you stream for 3 hours straight, you officially performed three livestreams. This value is also tunable.

The model will also have the ability to read and respond to comments.
This will typically generate a comment and a response by the model. This is mainly utilized when the model reaches a tier and begins to receive quotas beginning the following week after obtaining a OnlySims tier.
Note: By default for every in game 5 minutes spent on this interaction, your sim will respond to one comment. Therefore if you spend 25 minutes using this interaction you have officially responded to 5 comments. This value is tunable.

Once a request is accepted, the model will need to post the content on their OnlySims in order to complete the request. Upon completion the model will be notified that they have completed the request and will receive the payment.

The model will also have the ability to chat with their subscribers.
This will typically generate a chat message by a sub. This interaction also increases the social need when utilized. This is mainly utilized when the model reaches a tier and begins to receive quotas beginning the following week after obtaining a OnlySims tier.
Note: By default for every in game 15 minutes spent on this interaction, your sim will complete one chat. Therefore if you spend 45 minutes using this interaction you have officially completed 3 chat requests. This value is tunable.

The higher the tier the model is in, the more likely they are to receive Fanmail, the quantity of gifts are greater, and the more expensive the gift.
The Fanmail will arrive in the mail and be inside of a package. Once the sim opens the package they will receive the gift and a message from the fan.

Similar to Simstagram Sponsorships, if the OnlySims model were to have a Simstagram and a OnlySims. They may receive additional sponsorship opportunities.
These OnlySims sponsorships may appear under the check Simstagram Messages interaction.
The OnlySims sponsorship opportunities so far include selling your own Gamer Girl Bath Water and attending one of those redpill manosphere podcasts.
Gamer Girl Bath Water Opportunity
For the Gamer Girl Bath Water opportunity if accepted, 50 containers will arrive in the mail. Once received, the model will just need to have those containers in their inventory while they take a bath. The container will be filled with their bath water. The model can then send out the filled Gamer Girl Bath Water containers using their mailbox. Once they are sent, the model can then make a Simstagram post about their sale of bath water. The model will receive some sales. If the model still has remaining inventory, they will be able to make another post the following day until all the inventory is gone. Additionally, if the model were to aquire more empty containers, they will be able to send more out. Increasing their inventory of Gamer Girl Bath Water. Great opportunity to earn Simoleans. This product will offer the biggest commission as the product is their own Bath Water.
Manosphere Podcast Guest Opportunity
If the model were to accept to be a guest on one of the manosphere podcasts. The model will be able to attend the podcast on the Office Building Rabbithole. Once they attend, the model will remain there for a few hours. Where they will be asked 3 questions in total. The goal is to generate the most rage possible to create the most possible viewership. Therefore it is in the interest of the model to answer the questions that will enrage the manosphere red pill viewers the most. This will increase viewership and gain you the most possible sub gain from red pill simps. This opportunity does not earn the model Simoleans, but is by far the biggest opportunity to gain thousands of subs for your OnlySims.
-Consequences of being an OnlySims Model
Being an OnlySims model comes with consequences. A model always has the chance to become a known OnlySims model whenever they post on their OnlySims. The higher the tier of the OnlySims model, the more likely they are to becoming a Known OnlySims model.
Once a OnlySims model becomes a known OnlySims model, they will have difficulty in keeping employment at a regular job. The jobs that the OnlySims model can keep without being fired are the Criminal, Culinary, Music, Part Time Bookstore Clerk, Part Time Grocery Store Clerk, Part Time Mausoleum, Part Time Day Spa Specialist, and Film careers.
Additionally, OnlySim models will have a harder time keeping partners who have an issue with them having done OnlySims.
The partner may argue to the model about them having done OnlySims and may even break up with them once their relationship drops.
-OnlySims Ask For Consent Interaction
OnlySim models have the option to do content with others. Such as shooting Woohoo videos, Kissing videos, Naked Selfies, Sexy Selfies, Selfies, Naked Kissing Selfies, Sexy Kissing Selfies, and Kissing Selfies.
However, tapes will not be produced if the OnlySims model does not get consent with the other sim who they are recording doing intimate acts with.
Additionally, content that you shoot with others also have the chance of making them become known OnlySim Models. Giving them the consequences that come along with being a known OnlySims model.
Sims who are either against OnlySims or have a job that they could lose from doing OnlySims will always never give out consent to shoot content with you.

-Add Mosaic Interaction
This interaction can be utilized by OnlySim models with a Computer or Laptop.
This interaction is utilized to apply mosaic to a Models Photos and Videos before uploading them to OnlySims. Completely preventing the chance of them becoming a known OnlySims models since mosaic will be covering their face. However, it is extra work.
-Delete OnlySims Interaction
This interaction allows OnlySims models to delete their OnlySims page. Completely removing the OnlySims skill.

Number one Pet Peeve of Sims 3
I don’t like that inactive Sims will get jobs that I didn’t intend for them to have.
In the Sims 3, EA’s story progression gives out coworkers and bosses to playable Sims who get jobs.
Often times, this will result in an inactive Sim beginning the same career even if they already have a job ( or they’re Retired which REALLY grinds my gears). This is because if no other Sims are working in your active Sim’s new job then EA has to create co workers.
But I am at a loss as to why EA just didn’t assign townies and homeless Sims to these coworker positions.
What I have done in the past to mitigate this is to use NRAAS’s version of story progression butttt it conflicts with way too many other things such as Simler90s Core Mod.
So now, I have modded the “Careers” XML file using s3pe
You can set a career’s minimum number of coworkers to zero in this XML!
That way, EA will pretty much only take care of bosses, which isn’t a perfect fix but it’s better than constantly micro manageing
Government Benefits & Services Mod Update (12/10/2023) 1.5V
Just wanted to give an update on some changes and additions made to my Government Benefits & Services Mod. The following additions are down below...
-Changed how Child Support payments work:
instead of a flat price. It is now a percentage of what the non custodial parent has in their household funds. So for example, if the non custodial parent has 500,000 Simoleans in their household funds. Then by default they will provide 1% of their household funds to the custodial parent per child. Meaning if the Custodial parent has two children with the non custodial parent. Their child support payment will be 5,000 per child. You can change the percentage amount in the Tunable XML. But, if you are playing as the non custodial parent I would keep it between 1%-5% as it can be brutal. Especially if you have many unsupported children.
-Can Determine Amount of items received from Food Bank:
In the Tunable XML, you can decide how many items your sim will receive from the Food Bank. By default it is 10.
-Can determine the amount of Simoleans gained from selling Food Stamp Coupons.
In the Tunable XML, you can decide on the sale price of these Food Stamp Coupons. By default minimum is 100 and maximum is 300.
-Added the ability to adjust the residential Lot value qualification.
In the Tunable XML, you can decide how much a sims residential Lot value can be before they are no longer considered a Low Household Lot. By default, it is 30,000. So any sim with a lower residential lot value of 30,000 would qualify.
If there are any other requests for the mod. Such as adding in additional Tunables or some changes. Please let me know. The additional Tunables were added due to individuals requesting these in the past. I mainly came back to this project because I wanted to adjust how Child Support payments work so I may increase the difficulty of my game if I was playing as a non custodial parent.
