No Rules Legacy Update

After 10 generations, multiple moves, and a very robust story progression, my legacy save is well and truly fubar. When I sent Dylan to Egypt, I got the same vendor notification over and over. In France, I saw the exact same NPC sim twice. The game is lagging, even after merging cc and resetting the town, which it normally does not do. It takes Dylan at least 30 sim minutes to change clothes, go to work, get in the shower, or go to bed. And sometimes the sims have a weird melted look before fully rendering.

I've tried googling some performance tricks, but think the save is too broken to fix. The most painful part, really, is that I will likely have to sacrifice all the keepsakes. I'm especially sad to lose nine generations of family photos and all the bottles of nectar that have been aging since Noelle's generation.

UPDATE: I put everything in Dylan's personal inventory before saving him to the library, so the only family heirlooms that were lost were a couple of festival photos, which I don't mind losing.

I've managed to save the Malan Hall dormies to the library, along with my current Dylan, so they can still be friends in a fresh save. I'm not bringing his siblings, so we'll just have to imagine them happy and thriving in Isla Paradiso. And even though Sims 3 mermaids aren't immortal, we're going to pretend they are, so Mara and Mason will live happily forever, together under the sea.

It's also likely that the apartment renovation storyline will fall to the wayside because the routing in St. Claire is kind of a nightmare, and I'm kind of in love with this house by @theplumdot which sits on the lot where Keahi lived in Sunlit Tides. I feel like it's kind of a full circle for the legacy for Dylan to live there with (HOPEFULLY, DYLAN) Zoya and their family since that's where Nara was born.

UPDATE: I realized that if I move them to Sunlit Tides, I will have to annihilate the entire population and let SP repopulate because there are so many people who have appeared in earlier generations. So, I'm trying a fresh St. Claire.

TL;DR: Game is borked, starting a fresh save with my legacy characters.

Well, the launcher for Sims 3 won't share my world. How am able to correct that? I exported the world again after editing the world. Also, may I get some help to get a file share account? Please and thanks. Redeem code please? I need one.

i really want to install TS3 but then i think about how long it will take me to download all the CC to make it look decent and then all the bugs and crashes that i will need to deal with

Ugh I’m so very frustrated right now. I’ve been trying to get my Sims 3 game playable again but it just wont cooperate with me.. Every time I started the game it would minimize directly to my taskbar. 

So I uninstalled it. Tried to reinstall but Origin was taking a hundred years. So I pulled out the old disk and downloaded the base game. Went in game and same thing minimized to the taskbar.

Finally figured out how to fix that. Got into game. Everything looked good. Went out to see if I could dl more packs. Origin not only took a hundred years to dl one pack but when it finishes I get an error telling me to try again later. So I pull out my old game disks.

Loaded a couple. Went in game to see if everything was good. This time all my settings are gone and the world I entered is nothing but gray with faint outlines. I have no idea what’s causing that.

If I can’t figure this out I may have to cancel any ongoing stories I have in TS3. I really don’t want to do that but I spent the afternoon on this only to finish with uninstalling it a second time. I’m ready to just toss it in the trash.

ts3 being annoying

Urgh, after seeing @fake-sims wonderful ts3 pics, I wanted to open up ts3 for the first time since forever.

Unfortunately it also takes forever for the game to load & lagged like hell when I tried to create a sim.

Figured it might be my graphics card. 

Now I finally got the game to recognize it, but it still takes forever to load. Why?!

Sometimes I Hate This Game (Sims 3)

Doing a "factory reset" on my Sims 3 game for the 3rd time this year. What a f*ng pain-in-the-ass. I guess it might be a while before I can get screenshots for the legacy again. What can I really expect from this game. I hate this when this happens right as I'm getting into the meaty part of my legacy.

Looks like I have to get all my mods back in and I've figured out a way of making sure that my characters in "my family" look like they did. I'm going to set up a folder that has all the CC that I use on my family so that they don't ever end up looking out of place or sans proper skins and I'm labeling that as ChikamorifamilyCC.

I've got my NRAAS mods in and I'm going to go ahead and look through my mods backup folders and find all the cc for River and Haruo and make sure that they look the way they're supposed to. Then I'm going to go in and deal with Yasunobu and the rest of who is supposed to be "family" and those hairstyles are going to be exclusive to Haruo/River and the rest of the Chikamori family.

Might take a while to get her back to looking like this…but once that happens, I can go on with the Legacy.

Update: Repaired as much of the game as I could along with the required cc to make the sims what they looked like before.

Thank goodness my CAW still works - I've heard rumors that EA App f*cked that up too for some people.
