Maybe that should be the Cleanish Laundromat now, because the Cleanesque Laundromat has seen better days.
Sims can't really wash clothes here much anymore. In spite of the solar panels, power is very sporadic and it seems to take a lot to run washers and dryers.
On a lonely stretch of abandoned railway behind the industrial part of town, sits an abandoned caboose. One sim spotted it while on a supply run and decided it to turn it into a house.
But is it a good house? Well...it does have the minimal necessities. However...
The caboose sits on a very small lot, only 6 x 16. The "house" itself is only 3 x 10, plus the two outside platforms on either end. So it's rather cramped, but still enough for a single sim, or two if the bed were replaced with a bunk bed.

Solar power added for the radios and computer, no electricity for anything else.
On the outskirts of town, there are several lookout towers. This is one of them. While the zombie apocalypse is [mostly] over, the townsfolk cannot afford to be complacent as the occasional zombie is still spotted and must be quickly dealt with.
The rooftop and tower can only be accessed by going inside through the ground level.
Top level, always manned by one or two sims using the telescope and/or binoculars.

Two or three sims are on duty at all times, rotating shifts. The tower is kept supplied with basic amenities for them.
The Bunkhouse
Next door is a bunkhouse that was used to house additional sims for guard (and fighting) duty when there was a larger zombie population. It's unused now, but still kept in repair in case it should be needed again.
Though an unpretentious building, City Hall used to be a busy place on weekdays. Running a city, even a small one like Twinbrook, is apparently a full-time job. But not so much anymore. During the worst part of the apocalypse City Hall caught fire. It only escaped burning to the ground because a torrential rainfall started about the same time. But one side of the building did sustain some serious damage.
City Hall
Since the town has started to come alive again, bureaucracy hasn't been much needed. One office in the undamaged half of the building is now used for some very basic record keeping.

This city hall building uses a rabbit hole door in order to function as a city hall.
Twinbrook no longer has a public pool, but this long defunct water treatment facility has been converted to a swimming spot, complete with a mini walk-up bar and a small playground for the kids. Don't mind the plants growing in the water.
Fun for all! Swim in the round! Each pool is just as deep as the next! And it's fenced in for your safety!
Creator notes: I am not the original creator of this lot, but I did recolor and grunge it up a lot (but it was kinda grungy already) to fit the neighborhood aesthetic of my Post-Apocalyptic Twinbrook.
This lot was originally created by Victor_tor. It is named Riverview Water Treatment Unit. It can be found in its original state at Mod the Sims: https://modthesims.info/d/640264/riverview-water-treatment-unit-14-06-20-upd.html Check it out!
Sandwiched between the Firehouse and Roxie's Liquor sits a little neighborhood bodega. Here sims can grab prepared food or choose from a limited selection of groceries and random items.
The selections are slim pickings these days, but there is an open-air bar in the back where sims can get a quick pick-me-up, weather permitting.
Twinbrook doesn't have the resources to put on a festival, but there are traveling troupes that go around to small towns and put on little festivals. They're always welcome, it's a good break from the hard lives that most Sims still have these days.
Fall Fest after the cut.
Fall Fest
The permanently closed drive-in serves as a place for festivals. It's also a good place for Sims to gather, anything from pop-up markets or swap meets to town meetings or just a day in the park.
