It’s officially baby time. She went into the hospital, stayed in there for about 13 hours (literally, the sim hours just kept going and they wouldn’t stop and she still wasn’t out of the hospital😭) but she had twins Aliyah Chandler and Ajane Chandler. They are doing well and are healthy.

Weeks and weeks and more weeks go by and her pregnancy is progressing rapidly. She’s writing more in her journal because she has to relieve stress. When she was 24 weeks pregnant with Olivia, Liv was only the size of a baseball. Now that she’s pregnant with this baby or even babies, they are the size of a basketball. She’s nervous because as more time goes on, soon people are going to notice that she’s gaining weight, she’s not going out as much, she’s not hosting as many parties, and she even took Liv out of school to homeschool her.

She gets finished eating and she puts her plate in the sink. The house is calm and quiet. Then her phone starts ringing and Kye’s name pops up.

She hesitates but picks it up.

Ailura: Hello?

…

Ailura: Yes I’m fine, why are you asking?

…

Ailura: I wasn’t acting weird, I was tired and there were about 7 people at my house.

….

Ailura: Oh uh a-actually I have to take Liv to a doctors appointment maybe next time, bye.

She abruptly hangs up the phone. She’s not very good at lying. Olivia’s doctor appointment isn’t until next month but she’s already getting a baby bump and she knows that if he finds out he’ll want to move her back in and take care of her but she doesn’t want that, she actually enjoys being away from him.

After sitting down with Kye for a little while, she realized that one drink wasn’t going to make this night speed up.

After hanging out with Anna, she figured she needed a drink so that’s what she did. She went to the bar and got herself a drink and realized that someone was waiting for her.

Kye: Mind if I join?

Ailura: Do what you want.

Kye sits across the table from Ailura studying her like a picture. This is a side to her he’s never really seen and he doesn’t know if he likes it either. He knew that she’d always come to this bar, but for socialization not getting drunk on a Tuesday to drown her sorrows away.

After getting off of the phone, Ailura heads into the kitchen to make her some food. Kye later arrives with Mason. As soon as he steps into the house she notices that Kye has brought along Mason and she quickly looks away. They greet each other but only briefly before she heads back to cooking. He urges her to go speak to Mason and after a while she does. It’s almost like she’s talking to an alien. She’s struggling to find the right words, she’s speaking in baby language even though he’s almost 4, and she looks scared. He notices this and picks Mason up. She tries to tell him that she can’t connect with him and it’s like he’s tuning that out. As Kye is mid-sentence, she walks away to go grab her purse and head out to town.

Kye: Wait- what are you doing? You can’t just walk away, I’m still talking to you.

Ailura: I already told you I was heading out in a few.

Kye: Why can’t you just treat him like you treat Liv? he blurted out abruptly.

Ailura stops, turns around and walks slowly over to him.

Ailura: You do realize that out of all people YOU play the biggest role in this right? When that social worker came to drop him off, I was so excited to see him. You were always carrying him and always babying him. Everytime I wanted to see him he was either “napping” or “feeding.” It’s like you wanted us to have no type of connection whatsoever. Why couldn’t YOU let me do my job as a parent?....exactly silence.

She walks out of the house and leaves with Anna.
