This is just a quickly furnished version of my Windy Island Lighthouse for those who wanted to use it as a residence or just get some floorplan ideas. Feel free to redecorate, move walls around, whatever you want!

The layout is slightly different from the original, with larger windows at the back and a porch on both stories. I didn't use any additional Custom Content, but I did use a few items from Cool Kitchen Stuff, so that is required along with Get Together, Get to Work, and Outdoor Retreat.

I don't plan on uploading this version to the Gallery, but the Tray files are available in the ZIP file below. To install, extract the folder and copy its contents (there should be 10 files total) into your My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray folder.

Windy Island Lighthouse is a TS4 remake of a lot I built for TS3. Someone requested that I upload it, so here it is! I haven't decided what I want it to be in my world yet, so it's currently empty and unfurnished. It's set as a residence, but feel free to turn it into a cafe, museum, souvenir shop, whatever you wish!

The build requires a couple of custom items, so don't forget to download those from the links below. It also requires Outdoor Retreat, Get to Work, and Get Together.

To install, download the ZIP file from the link below. Extract the folder and copy its contents (there should be 10 files total) into your My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Tray folder.

Re: the lighthouse

Hey all! Thanks so much for all of the notes about my lighthouse build. It’s very gratifying to know that people like it and want me to share it. I was away from my computer much of tonight so I didn’t get a chance to get the upload ready, but I will try to post it tomorrow night!

One thing - I loaded the lot tonight and realized that it will need at least two pieces of CC to look right - a window and a deco column. I apologize for that since I mentioned I could probably do it CC-free. Of course if you don’t want the custom items in your game, free free to substitute with whatever looks good to you!

TS4 version of my lighthouse from Whimsett Cove/Matkooskee. Only thing missing is an octagonal roof on the lighthouse tower!

I’m not sure what I’ll do with it - in TS3 it was a “vivarium” with fish aquariums and bug exhibits. Maybe I’ll turn it into a museum - I don’t really have any of those yet!
