Today I will layout the whole movie plot - so that you can get a whole scope of the movie. Hope you enjoy! Let the fun begin ;) In Micke’s third movie you will be dragged into a world full of secrets and betrayal but love conquers all. Let’s see what this movie is all about!
We used to be best friends and lived next to each other as neighbors “Adonis” that’s how I called Auden Ensley, my true love. It took me years to realize that he always has been the one for me. I will never forget the night at the roller skate park (our fav’ spot) before my family and I moved the other day suddenly away after my big brother got murdered. Auden and I got separated but we promised each other to write and stay in touch. Over time we lost each other out of sight.
15 years later...
Present Time: Grey at the harbor and at home with his father
I’m back in NY and sometimes I lose myself in thoughts like now: “I still have him on my mind, wonder what he does today, who he loves and how he is doing. I miss him daily and dearly. I ask myself does he think about me like I do? I have two relationships and stuck in one I’m not happy with but I have to save face on the outside and hide my true nature, she supports and understands me.
My father does not tolerate same-sex relationships. He says it’s against god’s plan and unnatural. He always tells me that my brother used to be a disgrace for our family especially since my family belongs to the well-respected wealthy ones in NY. I’m a Lockwood and I’m not going the same path as my brother did that’s what he told me.
Till today the murderer got away and it’s still an unsolved case. My father warned me if I would dare to even think about to date a boy that I would pay a high price for this shameful disgusting and disgraceful behavior. He continued with phrases like “This not what a man is supposed to be”. He truly showed me his face how he thinks about “this kind of love”. My relationship with him was always distant, cold! Sadly I didn’t know anything about what he meant as the young boy I used to be but over the years I figured out that my brother was gay like me and still, I couldn’t understand what my father meant by the words “paying a high price”... but I would find out soon!”
Present Time: Auden at Black Grind Cafe & at home reading old letters
“My boyfriend did propose to me today and I said yes, I’m 32 years old it’s time to settle. But deep down inside I knew I shouldn’t have agreed simply because I love someone else. A shadow - from the past, I still see his face and I smile because I remember how he called me “Adonis” he is the one who I have on my mind since we were apart. Does he still have me on his mind? Whenever I mention Grey’s name in my parent's presence their face gets sad. Because, at that time when my cousin died, Grey’s family moved away.
Yesterday I found out that Grey wrote to me all those years. I found a box at Mum’s with old letters which my mum hid from me! I was so in shock because I truly believed Grey simply forgot me. I was so thrilled and excited, my fingers were gliding over his handwritten ink. Now I wish even more to have him back in my life, even if we would be just friends. It’s almost impossible to imagine how furious and mad I was with my parents. They betrayed me, they knew that I missed him so badly, yet instead, they let me suffer for years. But I wasn’t aware that it had something to do with Grey’s parents. The Lockwoods, god how much I despised his father it was just a feeling that I couldn’t shake off but the way how he treated Grey did always bother me and today I know the reason.
Last week I met Grey by accident on my way to the office. I was in a hurry for a meeting where I was already late and then I run into him. It was unbelievable, I didn’t dare to dream our path would ever cross again. It felt like I found the lost half of my soul. I finally felt complete again and we instantly clicked as if we were never apart. We were first just friends but we both figured out quickly it was more than that. Even if we had our relationships a tender bond grew between us, our love started to bloom and soon after some drama with our exes, we were finally free to love each other for the rest of our lives. That’s my plan!”
Grey’s Perspective 6 month later
I found out that my father killed my brother and Audens Cousin only because they loved each other and still it’s getting worse because he caught me and Adonis in the act. He promised me that I would not survive long enough to enjoy this disgrace for his family. Adonis and I escaped together, hid us away from my father and hired a private investigator to find evidence for murdering my brother and his cousin. Little did I know that even my mum was involved in this sick game my father did run on me, she knew he killed her son. I mean how can a mother allow this? I have no answers to this question and probably I never will have an answer. I could not talk to her and I have to admit I feel ashamed to be a Lockwood.
Now he is chasing me, he is in rage and blind. I hope Auden and will survive this...A few days later in the morning before I woke up I felt something cold on my forehead and when I opened my eyes, I realized that I had a gun pointed towards me. A familiar voice said:
“Son, I warned you, with your despicable behavior you ruined our family and my legacy. Same tried your brother but a Lockwood has to be a man, so I will do my duty and eliminate the disgrace you want to put on my name. I cannot tolerate this! Do your prayer son.”
My father found us, I had nothing to say and all I could do was to close my eyes, find my peace with the upcoming destiny, being in the know that I was loved by Auden. A shot sliced the air and I thought this is it, today I’m gonna die.
Suddenly I felt Auden's lips on mine instead. He saved me, my father is dead, he shot him and all I could say was “Thank you, Adonis I’m yours forever I sunk deep into his wonderful kiss which was the bliss of love. Being loved is a gift and I cannot express how grateful I am that Auden not only came back into my life to love me but I knew now I’m truly free to love him back, finally.”

Dang, it took an eternity to this set it up, sorry for that. I never, ever had issues to create my story plots but yeah this killed me. Now let me tell ya straight it was hard to create this illusion, due to lack of matching poses but I hope I could still achieve the effect I’m going for. But when I’m stubborn and want still to achieve it I’m going for it - took me only literally several days but hey I’m happy now. Today let me drag you into a Fast & Furious Scenery kinda...Micke has gone bad boy, you know... but just for this movie plot, hehe. Kinda long so you can continue to read under the cut ;). @cillaben Enjoy!
Ryder Bentley, some would say he is a spoiled rich brat, other say he’s dangerous and again different people say different things, some say he is a lost soul, an adrenalin junkie and so much more. Living life on a fast lane and feeling nothing is not new to Ryder. He does it since he is 14 the moment when he lost his mum in a car accident caused by his father. His father felt deep guilt for being the cause of his mothers' death. They were supposed to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Back then yes Ryder had a mental breakdown and due to the fact that he could not rely on his dad because he escaped into his working world and left Ryder entirely up to himself. Money was never an issue, the name Bentley and their black credit card were there to be used free by Ryder. He met a crew the “Red Kamikaze” and became quickly their leader because of his amazing driving skills and how he picked up fast to be the top-notch within the driving scene. When he drives this is the only moment he feels close to his mum where he actually feels that he is still alive and free.
His father forced him to study IT in order to take over their family empire the Bentley Tec Corp. A company which is known for providing best security software against hackers and he had to meet the obligation otherwise his father warned him to cut off the financial support. Ryder did as told and finished his degree, even he hated his father.
One day his father ordered him to his office.
Ryder: Yeah, what do you want now? You know it’s early in the morning and I highly despise to be told when I need to be here, especially after my last night.
Derrick: Well, Son it’s not my fault that you still don’t know the difference between “Leisure” activities and “Business” is “Business”. Get a grip, this is my last warning. And son, put that cig out! Get yourself together, do whatever you want on weekends but during the week I need you focused.
Ryder: Heard it, million times Derrick... he yawns
Derrick looks disappointed: Yes, and you force me to keep repeat myself - anyways meet Ms. Harlow Love, she is our new supervisor for the new “Heartbeat” security project you two will spend a lot of time together. And son, I’m telling you if you gonna mess this up - your out! Got it?
Ryder: Harlow Love? Is she a cupid? Love sent, huh?
Harlow: Nice to meet you Mr. Bentley neither a cupid nor sent by heaven to save you but how about you Mr. ‘Ryder’, ‘Driver’ of a Bentley? I heard a lot of things about your habits I must admit your name suits you.
Derrick smirks: Son, she has sass, haha I like her. She is not like your usual trashy picks. I’m leaving you two to get to know each other and remember ‘business is business’.
Ryder: Yeah, as if if you care about me and it’s none of your business with who I’m mingling, Derrick. So, Ms. Love, it seems like we are going to work together?
Harlow: The pleasure is all mine...
Both eyes meet while they do their formal handshake and both feel the sparks between the two. Feels like a forbidden fruit, which only waits to be picked by Ryder.
Harlow and Ryder worked together on the new security project. After two weeks they had an affair together. It started all in the kitchen, he was teasing her that she’s into him and then a joke led to another. Harlow couldn’t resist his charm and the heartbeat project went beyond business. Let’s say it got very personal, hot and steamy. They became a couple and spent a wonderful time together. His father accepted surprisingly their relationship. Ryder never experienced a love like this before. She also learned about his crew and all that what made Ryder the man he is today. But she was always scared that something could happen to him whenever he meets his crew. She went with him on some races, met his crew and they all had a great time together she became a part of his crew and Harlow did participate in several car races with Ryder together.
16 Month later
One evening while they were chilling on the sofa he told her, that as a leader of the Red Kamikaze he has to join a battle with a guy from the Skullfaces Crew. He told her that this guy loves to use the drafting method to get rid of his opponent, sometimes he also uses foul tricks to win. Harlow gave her best to convince Ryder not to participate. She tried to tell him to give up his crew and all those illegal activities because if he doesn’t stop he might get caught or something worse will happen. For Ryder it was out of the question he is so going to participate. Both started to fight and argue about it but Ryder said that he is thankful for having his crew without them he would not be here today, they practically saved his life.
The night of the race came. Bates the leader of the Skullfaces Crew came up to Ryder and told him that he can pack his stuff and the glory times for the Red Kamikaze are over. Ryder was totally unimpressed as Bates failed to intimidate Ryder.
Ryder: Bring it on! Show me what you got. Winner takes it all, the cash, the car from the opponent and all that jazz, you know the drill, deal?
Bates: You will regret it this time, Ryder. My Nissan will burn you to ashes. You’re not gonna win I’m telling you.
Ryder: Nissan, huh? Well, let the wheels speak for themselves, shall we?
Both get into their car ready to turn on their engines. Sure Bates has to prove himself and show off how much power he thinks his engine has under the hood. Ryder checks his settings, opens the turbo tanks under the passenger seat, does his adjustments and he is set.
A girl stands between the two cars raises her hand in the air and says:
Ready, Set, Driveeeeeee...
Within 3 seconds it took Ryder to accelerate his car to a speed of 120 mph, Bates was close behind. Suddenly Ryder realizes that Bates is trying drafting on him. This sucker tries to get rid of him. But Ryder adds more speed to keep the distance between them. Unfortunately, there was oil on their road and suddenly Ryder’s front axle lost contact with the ground. He tried to stop the car and he could manage it but Bates was already too far away.

Ryder jumped out of the car and run to Bates to beat him up and yelled: “You son of a Llama I knew it that you played a wrong game. Come here...” his fist was ready to smash Bate's face down and he did do his magic on him but suddenly out of nowhere a familiar voice said:
Ryder Bentley hands up! You have the right to remain silent You're under arrest.
It was Harlow, Harlow Love the women he loved. Totally caught by surprise, he couldn’t believe what he saw that she did that to him but why and how? Suddenly it all made sense all her questions about his crew and everything that she did: Holy moly... she worked undercover at his dad's company and she betrayed me.
Harlow came closer to Ryder pointing still the gun at him. Warning him but Ryder went to embrace Harlow and whispered “Why Harlow? I love you... How could you do this to me?
Tears are falling from her face she gave him a quick kiss as she whispered: “I was begging you not to go. It’s my job, Ryder I’m an undercover agent.
She escaped his embrace did a step back with her right gun and said “Step back Mr. Bently I’m warning you but Ryder stroke her hand with the gun, she was shortly distracted while his fingers pulled the trigger and the shot met Ryder directly in his stomach. He instantly broke down while still focusing her with his eyes.
Harlow went instantly down with him and embraced him.
Harlow: Why did you do this? You were supposed to go to jail and not this. Don’t die on me Ryder, don’t leave me, I dare you...
Ryder coughs: I’m not going to jail, my love. I didn’t leave you but I think it’s time to go to see my mum again. Don’t worry, my love, I forgive you that you betrayed me.
Harlow with tears in her eyes: Ryder, you cannot die now, please I love you...Someone needs to call 911, call the freakn’ ambulance. Stay with me, Ryder I beg you.
Ryder whispers: If you love me let me go...coughs, again.
She could see his tears and suddenly she felt deeply guilty. Ryder tried to open his eyes again as he whispered “Ms. Love, you were supposed to be mine, You know what they say, ride hard, live intensely and die young I guess I did all that with you! He coughs again ‘I love...’ as he stopped to talk. She screamed... No, no... Ryder, come back.
The breath of life escaped his body. He closed his lips and eyes to rest in peace forever. It was time to meet his mum, again.
*Drafting: A racing technique of racecars following directly behind one another in order to pull the following cars along with the racecar in front of the others.
*Kamikaze means “divine wind” [Japanese] read more here but for this story, it’s used as all drivers have an insane driving style and love to do drafting which is actually kinda very dangerous but they love the thrill ;).
