Little tip for sims 4 players looking to decorate empty worlds: You can edit the sims 4 camera.ini in the games bin/res folder to allow you to reach the end of the maps with awingedllamas clickable worlds mod. This lets you use the build version of the tool mod while still being able to go far out into the map. You can go on a single lot and still reach all places of the neighborhood. I figured out how to do this a while ago (like a year or two maybe, when I had my old tumblr).

Here's how to do it: *Save a backup of the original file* Open up the camera.ini in the game's bin/res folder, search for LotRadiusMultiplier and change the number to a higher one. I use 14 or 16, but if you see that you still can't reach some parts of the map, you can increase the number until you can. Luckily, you can change this while your in the game without breaking anything. You just have to make sure to save the file for the change to take effect.

You can place it in your ConfigOverrides folder in the game's documents folder or directly in the bin/res folder.

coming from a WCIF friendly simblr ( me) leave the ppl that don't want to do wcifs alone like seriously leave them alone some people are not here to be at your service 24/7 they just wanna log in and post their art/gamepaly talk to friends and that's it. NO ONE is under obligation to help you even if you ask nicely. boundaries are boundaries and yall need to respect them. doesn't fucking matter what you think should be done if a person said no it means no.

alternatives to bothering non wcif people and harassing them through their inbox:

-see if they have a cc finds blog and look through that

-see if they have a pinterest board for sims 4

-see if they have their likes public they probably liked the cc they used

-see if other people have used this cc and if they are wcif friendly

-see if their friends have ccfinds they also probably get cc from there

- go on google and search “sims 4 theme of cc mm/alpha” so for example “sims 4 y2k top MM” “sims 4 layered hair alpha” and check newer pinterest pins

- go to @/public-ccfinds @/lightsleepertrait @/alwaysfreecc and look through the latest reblogged posts

- ask your simblr friends

- most discords have a “wcif” channel utilize that

-try to recognize the creator even if you got it wrong looking up “sims 4 leahlillith layered hair” when you are looking for Anto hair believe it or not will get you there faster cause google connects most cc creators with the same style together (based on people clicking on similar creators when cc shopping its algorithmic work)

all of these methods are tried by yours truly and i usually only end up doing 1 or 2 of these and i find the piece quickly everything will take max 15 mins of your time which is more efficient than sending anon and waiting 1-4 businesses days to begin harassing the simblr into giving up the link of the cc.

beginners tip for making  your make up work on darker skintones

i’ve been doing this for a long time and just assumed people know about this cause its not that hard but i thought i would make a post explaining anyway for any beginners (like me) or people who just dont know  

the problem : 

alot of make up doesn't show up on black sims and dark skintones in general because people only rely on the s4s white model and the templates for the male and female bodies that are also white 

solution 1: 

 the obvious solution is to add a mod to s4s to make the models skin tone darker like this (click on the images for higher res btw)

there is this mod by @simkoos​ and this mod that has alot more skintones by brujah 

but the model you use in photoshop is still light and that wastes alot of time with back and forth between ps and s4s so to eliminate that i also made the color of the model in the template darker here is how: 

step 1 : 

duplicate your original template so you can have a reference to the light skintone then select one of the layers, rasterize it if needed 

and go to image -->Adjustments-->hue/saturation

step 2:

in the dialogue box click colorize then move the hue cursor to the square area shown below below its between red and yellow this will initially set your skintone to a human one from yellow brown to red brown you can move around in this are for diff undertones

step 3:

then you adjust the lightness decrease it to make the skin tone darker and increase the saturation to remove the ashy tones from it  this is an example here 

note: be carful not to go too much into the yellow or red areas it will not look human stay between them as much as you can

and thats it now you are ready to open a new layer and draw on top 

this a quick beginner way for you to make sure your make up shows up vibrant on darker skintones and not have that white edge that makes it only usable on lighter skintones i am sure you can do this in a more advanced way as to not color the whole image and exclude the eyes and teeth but as i said i wanted to keep it as simple as i could

tip: match your image to the color of your s4s model’s skintone for consistency

Simmer Tip: If the monster under the bed gets too annoying turn it off with mccc

MC Tuner > Change Interaction Behaviour > Allow Monster Under Bed
