Holy (Modification)
Adds the properties of sanctity to the existing Feature's effects.
Modification
Requirement: [N/A]
As its primary description states, the Holy modification adds the properties of sanctity to the existing Feature’s effects. How powerful these properties are not only depends on the user’s Potency, but also on the duration of the Technique, longer lasting Techniques having to spread the holy Energy throughout its duration.
When modifying a Technique with an existing Damage Output, any damage dealt is doubled when the target is any form of undead, abomination, or unholy subject (note: although called demons in the English version of the series, yokai do not suffer doubled damage unless they fit one of these categories).
When it comes to Self Techniques, the user irradiates holy aura which cause any undead or unholy subject to receive 1d4 damage for every time they make physical contact with the user, or vise versa. Damage Output from Conjurations modified by Sacred is doubled when the target is any form of undead or unholy subject. Additionally, if any of the aforementioned types of subjects make contact with the holy conjurations, they receive 1d4 damage.
Techniques with an area of effect and those that affect surfaces prevent undead or unholy from crossing them. If they are already within them, they are forced to leave them using their Move Action, although they are free to apply any special Move Actions should they have any.
