2021 Writing Goals

not really doing writing related resolutions this year, but i do have some things i'm hoping to achieve, namely

finishing the first draft of ashen embers, which i really think i can do

writing more poetry

sharing more of my work with others (online, through beta reading, or by giving it to friends/family, even if it's just a few lines at a time) maybe even entering competitions?

having FUN

• if i was braver, i might be as cool as she is

• purely just a container for my rage and inability to do anything because i’m baby

• if emilio is quiet, adelina more than makes up for it. she is Loud™ and Opinionated™ and you WILL know it

• she is a borderline herbo. like she’s not completely dumb but she makes the dumbest decisions sometimes i stg. you know how everyone yells at harry potter for being dumb? be prepared to yell at her because this girl is a brick wall

• she’s literally the first female main character i’ve written in like,,, years. idk why either. she just is

• she shares the same attitude as i do when it comes to hair: we’ll brush it but if something frizzes it up, oh well, we’re gonna look like we just crawled through the brush for the rest of the day
