Another Ultrasound
I had another ultrasound of my kidney again on the 16th. They were checking the blood flow to see if my kidney could be causing my high BP. The test results showed that the blood flow is normal, so that is some good news.

Doctors Appointment
Had a doctor's appointment today and had to get labs done they are going to check to see if I might have Celiac because I've been having some tummy issues. I lost weight, which is good news, I suppose. I'm at 157.4 lb now.
Having Turner Syndrome is exhausting. It's like fighting a losing battle with no end in site. It's not like Turner Syndrome is going to just go away or get better. There is no cure for Turner Syndrome and no way to prevent it from happening. There are so many doctors appointments to keep track of and medications to take. Women and girls with Turner Syndrome are more suseptible to various autoimmune diseases. I myself have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis.
Hashimoto's disease progresses slowly over the years. You may not notice signs or symptoms of the disease. Eventually, the decline in thyroid hormone production can result in any of the following:
Fatigue and sluggishness
Increased sensitivity to cold
Increased sleepiness
Dry skin
Constipation
Muscle weakness
Muscle aches, tenderness and stiffness
Joint pain and stiffness
Irregular or excessive menstrual bleeding
Depression
Problems with memory or concentration
Swelling of the thyroid (goiter)
A puffy face
Brittle nails
Hair loss
Enlargement of the tongue
In this picture, I'm being held up by my two older sisters because I couldn't sit up on my own due to weak muscles.
