I met the nicest people at @thesouthernc summit last month. And now, I have even more beautiful and inspiring feeds to follow. As an artist, so much is a visual inspiration and sometimes it’s hard to turn it off, even when you want to think about something else. But these flowers 🌺 😍. It’s rainy and grey here today and I’m thinking about sunny @sea island and inspired by these talented artists to use the day well by staying in my studio and painting. All day. Thank you @kellymasonbrookesdesigns for words expressed so perfectly. Loved meeting all of you. ・・・ Back in the studio and taking a moment to be thankful for such an incredible trip to the @thesouthernc , I had been looking forward to it for months and it truly offered more than I could have imagined, an intimate gorgeous setting with like minded creative entrepreneurs such as interior designers, artists, fashion bloggers, boutique owners, bakery owners, editors of my favorite publications etc. Hearing the session with publication editors from @verandamag , @southernlivingmag , and @brianharthoffman media was such a highlight to me as was our groups oceanside mentor session with @wellandwonder . Always such a pleasure to meet other artists such as @ajarrell_abstracts , @eleanorscottdavis , @barefootstudios , @erindonahueticeart , @janibethoutlaw , and @hannahbetzelfineart . A big thank you to @cherileavy and @whitneywiselong for creating such a treasured event that I will remember for a lifetime!
