How you met: You two met when you were partnered for a project in English. Neither of you had noticed or talked to each other, you hadn’t gone out of your way to be near him either. But as you started working on everything and you started to come out of your shell and little more Steve found himself enjoying your presence. And soon the two of you were as close as you could be.

Favourite trait: Your protective streak, the fact you’re willing to stand up to people despite their strength or attitude. You were willing to stand up for Steve when necessary and coach the Party through all their issues at school and the Upside Down. He loves the power you’re willing to hold for the good of things and he always smiles when he sees you being protective in any form.

You two are a very ‘old souls’ kind of love, already acting like a married couple you spend hours at home eating and playfully bickering. You take the kids out to the arcade (usually compete against them) and jam out to music in the loungeroom dancing poorly. Steve is willing to put all your insecurities at bay as you are ready to do so for him. You help each other when possible and love each other devotedly. How you met: You met a comic store, he was getting a present for Will and you were picking up the latest edition of your favourite comic series, you weren’t paying much attention to him but were mumbling a song under your breath that he recognised. He ended up looking at you a little too long and you felt it, you looked up and saw him looking softly at you. You smiled awkwardly then walked away. He cursed himself for being so awkward, you were beautiful.

Favourite trait: Writing! He really loves reading your work, no matter how nervous you are about it. One day when you give him something substantial he gives it to his brother and gets him to draw all the worlds and characters from the book. He likes to reference your work and support you through writer’s block - he does get upset when you don’t base a character around but he won’t say it.

I honestly love the idea of you guys together. Like? Staying at home and listening to music all day, even driving and listening to music, drawing while he’s taking candid’s of you. Having several of them just in different areas so he can smile at your face in the lighting of his room. Studying together and falling asleep on the floor and Joyce just kind of looks at you two wondering what the wedding will be like. You two are such a cute couple and honestly, he sits and listen to you play the piano for hours because he loves you so much you’re made for each other.

How you met: He actually met you awkwardly once when you knocked into each other, but he didn’t notice you until one day he heard you in the cafeteria talking in another language.Whatever it was was sarcastic based on the tone, facial expression you held. He found it amusing to watch you sass people without them knowing what you were saying. He was very intrigued.

Favourite trait: Drawing. The whole family loves it honestly. But the particular way you draw, the way you do it fascinates him, he watches you -even attempts to replicate - every time you draw. Even simple things, he also likes it when you pull up his jacket and draw on his arms, he traces his fingers over them all day.

You two are completely devoted to one another, spending hours together at each other houses the Byers welcome you with open arms (Will already sees you as a sister) and you love them in turn. You too often stay up talking about movies and books you’ve read and Jonathan is willing to let you drag him around as you look for vintage clothing. He’s patient through your mood swings and is always ready to support you. He considers you one of the best things to happen to him.

How you met: You two met in awkward circumstances actually, he was on a date. You were both at the movies waiting to see the latest hit. His date had proven to be self-centred and ruder than imaginable and it put him off. but he saw you sitting quietly waiting for the theatre to open and he smiled. You looked like his kind of girl.

Favourite trait: Your date ideas (is that a trait?) he just loves the fact you want to be alone with him, listening to music and confiding in one another. he likes having you to himself so when all you want is that he’s very happy. Also enjoys your lack of experience, he finds it endearing. But you’re short, he likes having that sort of power where he can lift you up with ease, so he does it, all the time.

You two are the most secretive couple ever. Yes, he’ll hold you during the day, everyone knows you’re together. But they never see you on dates, they never notice you two in his Camaro listening to music and they never see the kisses in alleys. He loves how you go from sassy to shy if he plays his cards right, he loves how he can hold when he pleases. He reads your writing, almost demands it everytime he finds out you’re working on a new project. How you met: It was a party your friends made you go to. You’d been holding on to them the entire party but eventually lost them in the crowd. Now you were alone and bored. Billy saw an opportunity to flirt his way into a drunk blissful night. But as you came off sarcastic and reserved Billy eventually saw you as a challenge that would take one day to long and that was all it took to genuinely like you.

Favourite trait: He loves when you play the guitar! Strumming your fingers along the strings he watches you play for hours on end fascinated by the skill and nimbleness it requires. You end up trying to teach him which he enjoys, but you leave the guitar at his house which was destroyed by Neil. So now he just watches you, sometimes distracting you with neck kisses.

I feel like you two would be just such a private supportive couple. I think you’d really help him get his aggression in check and he’d help you become more open. Because Billy shows too much negative emotion and you bottle up all of yours. You lean on each other to create a peaceful relationship and self-improvement in yourselves. You spend hours in his car driving around and have a weekly late night date where you sit in his car (and make out). Billy adores what you’ve done for him, he’d run away with you in a heartbeat.

How you met: He had heard about you at school, the girl obsessed with books about cannibals and comic with super soldier patriots. But he didn’t actually meet you until you were hanging out with Max. you were making her listen to Ed Sheeran (who she begrudgingly liked) when she pulled over the Party to meet you. Dustin got this stupid grin on his face when he saw you, you were really pretty.

Favourite trait: He loves how much you read, he always finds you reading a book your face so close to its pages it’s adorable. He always gets you books for birthdays and special occasions because you appreciate them so much. But he adores your green eyes above anything, he could stare into them for hours he just finds the colour hypnotising. 

You two are the run of the mill cutesy couple. Running to the comic store after school and going to the arcade after. The party thinks your awesome and always go to you when wanting to watch scary things their parents won’t allow. Dustin knows how hard you try at school and makes you forget about your parent’s opinions of your grades because they’re amazing anyway. He’s extremely supportive of you and you help the party and him with the Upside Down troubles, but not with Dustin protecting you around every corner.

How you met: You two met through the Party, you’d met them at the arcade one day and slipped them some spare quarters you had. You had bought them a drink one day as they waited for Steve to pick them up and as he drove into the park he saw you chatting with them and was intrigued. The party waved goodbye to you and got in the car and Steve immediately interrogated, “Who is that?”

Favourite trait: Loves your idea of a perfect date. He could cuddle with your for hours, just sitting and watching moves just for static noise as he played with your hair and hugged you tightly. He likes when you talk about your books or general opinions of the world which he might add too but usually just stays quiet. As long as your in his arms.

You two are a very hidden couple, you don’t do a lot of things that stay in the ring of gossip which you appreciate. You spend a lot of time at home or in the cinemas seeing whatever is new. He takes you to the arcade a lot where he meets up with the party and always makes sure you feel comfortable, never anxious especially as your new to the relationship thing.
