Today was a chocolate chip cookie day. A day to celebrate, a day to cozy in, a day for comfort. I don’t make chocolate chip cookies often if at all (I cannot remember the last time I made them), because when I do, I eat soooooo many, but today was a good for them. Be sure to follow along on my IG Stories as much more is shared there regarding how my days unfold, but I made them because this day made me smile. I love rainy days (add a bit of snow because it is Bend), but I truly and most sincerely love rain. Call me a pluviophile. And while I picked up what I needed to begin prepping my lawn and yard beds for spring this morning at Home Depot, it was chilly outside, so we (the boys and myself) stayed inside and finished a wallpapering project - seen in this image. Finishing a hard task always takes you out of your worries and wonderings and puts you front and center into the present moment and exhausts you in the best possible of ways. Such was the case with my hanging of grasscloth wallpaper today. All is up and soon the room with be accessorized, and I will show you it all (but for now, be sure to check out Stories for a few pics). Today was a day to experiment in the kitchen with these chocolate chip cookies. It was a day to dream, plan and now cozy in and wait for warmer weather to step outside and play in the dirt. I hope you had (are having) a lovely Saturday as well. Bonne journée. #tsllelevatetheeveryday #tsllhomecustomization #tsllhome #tsllrecipe #tsllsimpleluxuries https://www.instagram.com/p/B-k8E9OACJr/?igshid=1u7kiii5mfr1c
