Use your logic, and ask the right scholar who knows the particular Islamic field. Issues in Hadith must be taken to scholars of ahadeeth and so on. Why contradictions? The life of this world isn't an easy ride, rather is filled with tests and trials. These contradictory statements and confusions are tests of the religion.
