Filming Plan
There’s still some things that I need to finish filming, but since it’s one in the morning and really dark, I no longer have the daylight i’d been using to light my desk to film on, so getting my footage to look the same isn’t going to work if I start filming now. I’ve decided to make a plan of exactly what it is I need to film so that I can start straight away tomorrow morning so I can get on with editing everything together for the final title sequence - If I don’t sleep through my alarm that gives me 15 hours to get this thing done. I’m trying to be optimistic.
Typewriter:
Zoomed into keys as the move
Side angle of the buttons
Zoomed into the paper as ‘Zodiac’ is being typed
Sliding the top across
Putting paper into the typewriter
Investigation board:
A few more shots of the string moving across the clues
Zooming out from the center to show the whole board and the Zodiac symbol in the center
Camera:
Shot of using the camera - changing the focus
Shot of using the camera - taking a photo
Sat on the table - track into the camera
Letters:
Flipping through the letters in a pack
Opening one of the letters and taking the note out
Files:
Possibly re-film the files being dropped onto the table

I know there’s quite a bit on this list, but some of it I’ve already done i’m just not sure i’m happy with, so they’re only on here if I have the time to fix them - if not i’ll just have to stick with what i’ve got. I’m going to be prioritising the Typewriter footage and the investigation board footage, since those are the ones that I feel are most important to have in the title sequence. Whilst I would love to include the others, if it comes down to it I may cut them out of the titles, but hopefully they’ll make the final cut. Fingers Crossed!
