Random -was messing around in Twitter. People are talking about the contents list for the new DnD5 Monster Manual and I was remembering this guy because it was typical of the eccentricity of Fiend Folio. Thankfully this is better than the illustration in White Dwarf (or was it Imagine? <- UK sister mag to Dragon) -of course it's better, because the illustration is by Russ Nicholson!
