The last thing Bruce remembered was falling. If he hit the ground he had no awareness of it. His mind was swallowed in a green fog of rage. Usually inside that fog he got some glimpse or had some kind of influence this time things were different. He felt trapped in the fog.
Like a comet Hulk flew across the galaxy. He’d crash landed on one planet without knowing why and now he was returning home. It made him angry to be shoved around like this, if he’d been able to get his hands on whomever was responsible he’d smash them and they would stay smashed.
When he hit the Earth’s atmosphere the heat caused the clothes he was wearing to ignite. The fireball was viewed by several agencies watching the sky who thought it was some kind of space debris. As he fell toward the ground his regenerative healing along with the increasing fury that the pain caused made him more indestructible. Then he slammed into the ground. Luckily it was in a remote area though the impact was heard miles away.
In the resulting crater the Hulk laid there his body healing from all the damage though he was rendered unconscious. After a few moments, the sleeping Hulk began to shrink and his skin tone went from vivid green to a more human light brown.
Bruce rolled onto his side and just lay still as his mind struggled to put itself back together. It wasn’t the first time he found himself in the middle of nowhere with no idea how he got there. It wasn’t until he heard a noise that he moved. Instinctively he backed away until he was at the edge of the crater holding his arms up to try to protect himself from whatever was coming. His brown eyes shifted to bright green as the creature that shared his shattered mind looked out to assess the threat.
