“!!!!” A deep frown shows on the blocker’s face, but the bright flush on his cheeks show it’s mostly embarrassment, not anger. “Why on earth would I do that, Oikawa-san?”

Tooru walks up to Tsukki and seeing that their height difference, though slight, is perfect, he eases his chin onto the first year’s shoulder, peering over from behind. “Whatcha doing, Tsu-chan?”

"Hm?" His head perks up from his PSP, eyeing the other guy from the corner of his eyes.

"I was trying to play a game." And despite him having mocked his teammates for losing, he had just recently died for the fifth time in a row. "Damn it..."

Memories of the exact moment his hands blocked and stomped Ushijima's spike came flooding at that question. It wasn't usual for the blocker to let emotions get the best of him all the time, but that one memory had a genuine smile spreading over his face, just like a warmth feeling spread inside of him the second he fell in love with volleyball after that block.

"It did. It does." He had only so far talked to Kuroo about that newborn feeling, the need to be on the court at all costs. "It was exactly like you said, Bokuto-san."
