It is crazy how desperately i want someone to want me. To be with me. Someone who wants to be with me. I haven’t had a call in the middle of the night for years. Calling because they can’t sleep and just want to talk. Or someone on my door asking me to hang out. Without any invitation. Just asking me to be with them. I don’t remember the last time someone saying “Are you free? Can i come over?” It has always been me. I am the one asking you to be with me. Without even knowing if you actually want to.
