if i had a nickel for every 2025 horror movie that was more tragic than scary, ended in the death of nearly the entire cast save for a young black songwriter who survived not only from his own empathy and love for the world around him but also the care of the community he'd built for himself that also had a perfect score AND made me cry in theaters, i'd have two nickels.
which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice...
