idk how the official translation is going to word it, but i still can't get over how katsuki basically spearheaded/was a large contributor for izuku's new suit. he cares about izuku's dream and their relationship as rivals and childhoos friends so much. that's the love of his life, however you wanna take it: platonic or romantic (or both).

i can just imagine him constantly thinking about how much more he can do for izuku. even if izuku has put it all behind him, katsuki will never stop looking after him this way.

can you imagine a moment where one of katsuki's fans claims to love him more than izuku does, and katsuki nearly laughs in their face. he doesn't entertain the fan, but they keep listing off all of katsuki's amazing qualities and facts about him that no one should know.

and since this interaction happens outside, it obviously gets filmed because of course people would film pro-hero dynamight if they can catch him, and it obviously gets uploaded anywhere it can be uploaded.

and of course it goes viral.

so, ultimately, katsuki's best of all best friends (denki & hanta specifically) organizes a little contest: whoever can beat pro-hero deku at understanding katsuki the most wins a date with him.

izuku didn't get asked to do this by the way. he didn't even know that a video of katsuki had gone viral. he was off doing an overseas mission with shoto and fumikage, and as soon as his plan landed back in japan, he was being whisked away by eijirou and mina–two other willing participants in pissing katsuki off.

despite being exhausted and jet-lagged on top of that, izuku pretty much wiped the whole competition out before they could even have a chance—that is, until the fan from the viral video's turn was up. they went head to head with izuku, who was started to get stressed. this fan knew stuff about katsuki that even izuku didn't know, and that even creeped izuku out.

at the end, katsuki was made to delivered the last question. he stood in silence for a long while until he huffed out a laugh and smirked, staring straight at izuku. izuku rang the buzzer with lightning speed and answered a question that hadn't even been asked.

everyone was surprised when he got it right.

apparently, only izuku could guess "you better win this, you damn nerd" from mere actions alone.

in the end, not only did the super fan lose, but they were also apprehended for being a an extreme stalker—which, come to find out, was the whole point of the contest in the first place. katsuki and co. (as in, the bakusquad) wanted to see just how far katsuki's stalker had gone into invading his privacy.

when all was said and done, many people were buzzing about katsuki & izuku's relationship dynamics and how they're strong as ever.

izuku thought that was the end of that, but katsuki stopped izuku from heading home to tell him that his promised date was on saturday, and that he had to wake up at 5 A.M. sharp because they were going to go hiking before having a picnic at katsuki's favorite spot. izuku blushed and malfunctioned while katsuki smirked and went on about his day, going through his mental checklist again for their date that he had already prepared for because he knew izuku wouldn't lose.

really can't wait for the day when we get izuku stumbling upon dynamy and is wholly unaffected by it's foul language because he's with his equally foul-mouthed kacchan on a daily basis.
