Bulgaria ‘Will Pay Price’ For Accusing Hezbollah
Bulgarian nationalist party takes government to task for blaming pro-Iranian militants for last year’s terror attack in Burgas.
Bulgaria will pay a high price for maintaining that Hezbollah was involved in last year’s terror attack in the Black Sea resort of Burgas, the leader of the country’s nationalist Ataka party has warned. “Bulgaria’s government is playing a dangerous game and I am absolutely sure this is a mistake and we all will pay a high price for it,” Volen Siderov told the state TV on Friday. “The most important thing is that by pointing your finger at Hezbollah, which is the leading government player in Lebanon, you point your finger at the whole country,” he said. The statement came in response to the announcement by Bulgarian Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, that two persons from the pro-Iranian military wing of Hezbollah were behind the Burgas bus bombing.
