Follow Up To Last Night...
So, *big long sigh* I AM SO TIRED. Last night I spent my ENTIRE evening online focusing on Sam’s “The Spy Who Dumped Me” premiere and after party, and then stayed up WAY too late, posting, answering Anon Asks, and replying to DM’s on here and on Twitter...and NONE of it was fun. And it wasn’t “not fun” because I wasn’t able to do what I LOVE to do--provide inside source info, especially pics and video--but because people’s energy and investment in whether Sam and Mackenzie are together or not was OVERWHELMING---on both sides, both Extreme Shippers and Non-Shippers. I am EXHAUSTED, and pretty much ready to sleep all day because that energy wore me out.
So, I took a step back, took some time to think, and decided I’M NOT DOING THAT AGAIN. This is what I’m going to do from now on. Before any big Sam or Cait event, I’m going to turn off Anon Asks and Submissions until AFTER the event, that way I can concentrate on providing info and having fun reblogging pretty pics of Sam and Cait at their events (yesterday Sam looked fine as fuck, but I didn’t to enjoy any of his pics at all because I was fielding people’s “energy”). Instead of concentrating on how great Sam looked and what a big night it was for him, and how much fun he was having, I was focusing on people DEMANDING answers from me in Anon Asks--notification after notification popping up with Anon Asks “what about this?” “what about that?” “if this then that” “is here there?” “is she there?” “can you hear me now? what about now?” :-) God, almighty, you would have thought this was the MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WHOLE WORLD. And for a few hours last night, I myself, also made it the most important thing in the whole world. Well, it isn’t. In the light of day, I would hope we would all realize that. In any case, I realize that, ergo, this is why I’m reevaluating how I spend my time here.
Sooooo, for example, later this afternoon, Sam appears on Jimmy Kimmel. Normally I would talk about how I know people going (I do), and how I’ll post pics they send me, and if Mackenzie goes (highly doubtful) I’ll post pics and video of her too, and talk and talk and talk, and answer Asks, and Submissions and DM’s all leading up to the event, and then talk thru the event, and never really enjoy any of it. Instead, I’m not saying a damn word about any events anymore until AFTER I’ve gotten the info. If I know people going places AND they get pics and video, THEN I will mention and post them AFTER the FACT. Otherwise, it’s just too much speculation, too much chatter, too much noise, too much overwhelming energy. I hope that makes sense, and I hope people understand. So, the next time I have source info, you’ll know cuz I’ll post about it AFTER the fact.
Now, onto Sam and Mackenzie. I am STILL being told they are STILL together. I’m not going to spend ANY MORE time speculating. “Well if it was a security issue, why not hire more security?” “Why didn’t she just go to the after party?” “There’s no reason why she would have missed his big premiere.” “Why, why, why, why?” ALL I will leave you with is this: 1. Sam’s FAMILY did not go to his premiere either. They’re still together right? :-). 2. When Sam was dating Abbie, naysayers said Sam and Abbie had broken up since there were NO pics or sightings of them from August 2015 to November 2015, YET, they had NOT broken up, and pics of them together skeet shooting in Scotland finally surfaced in November 2015. So, that is PROOF POSITIVE that Sam has been in a relationship before where there were no pics or sightings and HE WAS STILL IN THAT RELATIONSHIP. 3. Until I hear otherwise, I am maintaining Sam and Mackenzie are still dating. I’m not going to speculate as to the reasons why they are doing things a certain way. I’m going to wait and hear further news.
I’m going to do a follow up post to this one to give you guys an idea of what my night was last night and maybe that will foster a better understanding of why I’m saying what I’m saying above...I’ll post that one in just a bit. I. NEED. ALL. THE. COFFEE.
