and nod about in the breeze
as I swing here in your garden awhile
and watch as you rake the leaves.

aimee and faye each talk about vienna in vastly different ways, I realised after reading some older writing.
aimee gives anyone listening the impression that vienna is some strict, hard-handed authority figure. like a school discipline mistress or similar. someone she worries about following the rules of, whether she understands the rules or not.
and she’s always worrying about faye, almost pitying her when faye does something with the potential to invoke vienna’s wrath.
to her, vienna’s their point of contact with the grand system. a sometimes rather bizarre, bureaucratic system.
on the other hand, faye describes vienna as intelligent, yet kind to the point of naive. warm, gentle, but firm. observant of everything, but sometimes ignorant of her own needs. the best person in the whole wide world.
she thinks vienna works very hard. maybe too hard. sometimes she wishes vienna had a little more time to play with her. but that’s not vienna’s fault.
at any rate, she wants to make vienna happy, because vienna is cute when she’s happy. it’s not as nice when vienna’s disappointed. ah, but surprise is something else!
