Two years ago, a magical explosion nearly destroyed the castle of Avondale, capital of the human kingdom. No one knows for sure what happened, but the king's own Archmage is the primary suspect. As an aspiring bounty hunter, Caine intends to make a name for himself by finally bringing that mage to justice. To his surprise, this arcane master of legend is in a quiet little border village, running a tea shop of all things.

Pages 15-17! These pages were some of my favorite to do, I'm really happy with how the backgrounds came out. (Also I for one would fully support Silas if he wanted to go off to a tower and raise a skeleton army, self care like that is important)

As an aside, I'm sorry this is so late. I try to do updates every Thursday, but I didn't get around to this one until Sunday evening. Trying to balance my new job and my work as an artist has been kind of a challenge, but I'm trying to learn my limits and work out a schedule. I'm honestly not sure how many people are even reading this comic, especially here on tumblr, but... even if I only have one or two readers, I'll keep it going for them

Someone on reddit thought The Traitor's Grimoire was yuri so I had to draw genderbent versions of Caine and Silas, it was too funny not to.

This video on my youtube channel uses the speedpaint as footage while I talk a little about my transition! That video ends with an AMA about my gender/being trans in general, if you have any questions you wanna ask me you can send them in my blog here or the comments on youtube, and maybe you'll see your question in my next vid!

Happy Pride from Caine and Silas!

I wanted to post their canon orientations, and pride month is the perfect time to do it! Caine is a cisgender gay man, and Silas is ftm trans and pansexual. Silas is a lot more open and comfortable with his identity, while Caine is still learning to accept himself.

Question for TTG readers:

I'm not entirely sure how many people are actually reading my webcomic from tumblr, or how many of yall would read it, but decide against it bc it's on Webtoon. So I'm considering posting the pages on tumblr so yall don't have to leave the site to get the free content, and also cross-posting on tapas for those who prefer that over webtoon. Would this be something convenient for y'all?
